The specs on the USB ports are fairly standard so your Apple device should work OK. You can also use an adapter to plug into the 120 volt outlets and then into your Apple. I personally have not used this to charge an Apple.

Sorry I have never tried. I have put the smart plug in the outlet above where it is plugged in.

I don’t see why not. Though I have never plugged my TV into it, I have 2 laptops, a monitor and a printer plugged into one with no issues at all.

First off, I paid full price for this item and am not associated with the company nor did I receive any ‘rebates’ – this is an unbiased review.

For the price, it is what I expected. I opened it up to see if there really was surge protection and the quality of the build and ran some electrical tests on it.
1. There is a (small) surge suppression device in the unit. You can see it as a blue/silver device in the photo of the circuit board. This is good!
2. The quality of the soldering of the power input to the circuit board could be better. Not a significant item, but at the speed these are probably assembled, I would expect a less than perfect soldering job.
3. The wires providing power to the brass strips are a little thinner in gauge than what I would expect and the way they are spot welded to the brass strips is somewhat questionable. I gently tugged on them, and they seemed to be attached OK, but there is room for improvement.
4. The circuit board was only held in by one mounting screw to the case, but the way everything fits together, this isn’t an issue.
5. The thickness, therefore the current carrying capacity, of the brass strips is thinner than I expected. The strips carry the power to the outlets. At full load, they might get warm due to their resistance. Thicker would be better, but then again, this is an inexpensive unit.
6. The area of the strips that “grab” the prongs of the plug is pretty good … better than I expected.
7. The USB outlets do provide the rated power – you can see a 2.4 Amp load at 4.9V.
8. I plugged a heater in to each socket. The heater draws over 1400W, so it is at just about the maximum rating. Each outlet worked fine.
9. The circuit breaker switch feels pretty flimsy when switching it on and off. I would not expect it to last very long if it is repeatedly switched hundreds of times. Given that most people will leave it in the “ON” position, this may not be a big problem.

I’ve bought several of these, and they have worked fine so far.

For the price, I would say this appears to be a decent value. I like its compact size, the USB port configuration and that it has slots on the back so it can be mounted on a wall or desk.

AFTER unboxing I found this product did not have Underwriters Laboratory (UL) certification but had an Electrical Testing Laboratory (ETL) certification. UL creates standards, and performs tests on products to ensure they meet those standards. UL standards are used for testing by many other organizations, including ETL. ETL does not create the standards but uses them to certify products. When you shop at big box stores you will see a lot more products with ETL certification but not UL. In my career as an engineer, I have seen circuit breakers made overseas installed at our US Bases with counterfeit UL and ETL labels and these devices failed to operate properly. Bottom line is the certifications are similar. Suggest you read all the reviews and make your own decision

Makes an audible pulsing buzzing noise. Loud enough to keep me from falling asleep.
UPDATE: excellent customer support. They refunded me for my initial purchase and sent a replacement that does not buzz.

This little power strip/surge protector is designed well. It easily handled the multiple device chargers without taking up much room. (Sometimes you just don’t have space to put a power strip that is a foot long.) The screw holes on the back would make this ideal over a craft or workshop table. I may order another specifically for that purpose.

Wouldn’t think I’d find myself leaving a review for such a basic product, but here we are!! For good reason!! It is such great quality for the price. I am very pleased with not only the basic plug function to help my living room with few outlets function more efficiently, but also the USB options on the side took it to another level. Love it. Really helped my small space.

Recently bought a set of new dressers and wanted to push them as close to the wall as possible… my old power strip didn’t allow that because of the plug and the dresser had about 2-inches of space behind it.

This powerstrip allowed me to position my dressers as desired and had enough space in the back for the cord… the cord was long enough to reach my mounted TV and the power strip was small enough to tape it to the TV… so convenient and allows me to plug in all my devices and the built in USB allows you to connect the cables for streaming devices… no need to plug in the USB plugs…

I bought this to use in the plug behind my couch so I don’t have to pull the couch out constantly to get to the plug. I just have it under the edge of the couch so it is easy to access. I love the usb plugs on the side. It fits better under the couch that way. And it makes it easier to charge my phone. The only thing I wish it had was closing outlets so dog hair and stuff doesn’t get in it. Other than that so far it is working great.

Bought this for under a cabinet in my kitchen so I can connect a motion light and have extra outlets available. It works great and allows for versatility with small appliances. It’s low profile, right angle plug, and proper spacing between outlets allows for full use of the unit. Other power strips may have 4 outlets, but the narrow spacing between outlets never allows the use of all them. Great product!

This replaces an older strip surge protector. The best thing is the outlets are farther apart. Seems like plugs are becoming larger, this will take care of that. Love that I don’t have to use additional USB cubes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I have a zillion power strips in my house, but none of them do a good job accommodating multiple things with 3 prongs or cords that have a flush-style plug. This is great in that all 4 spots are spaced enough apart that nothing interferes with > 1 spot. There are also 3 USB plugs on the side, which are handy (you don’t have to use one of the electrical plugs for it, you can just stick the usb directly into the power strip). Lastly, the wall connection lays flat. Not flush of course, but you only need about an inch of clearance from the wall.
