Wall mountable?

Not unless you use velco or two sided tape

Does this have an on/off switch

No, it’s on when you plug it in

Ul listed?

No

Where is this made?

China

Surge Protected? Does this unit provide surge protection or not? I like the configuration but if it won’t also protect my devices, it’s not helpful.

If you happen to be using it on a cruise ship they don’t allow surge protected power strips and cords, so this would work fine.

Can anyone else hear popping when they plug something into this? Is it electric or the metal inside being so tight>?

I have two of them and neither one mames a plpping sound.

Can this be used with usb fan

If your fan has a standard USB plug then of course it can. This is an adaptor AC to USB charger with three Standard USB ports. ALso two standard three prong AC outlets. I am not clear why they call USB outlets ports and not outlets or vice versa why not call AC outlets ports? Anyway I’m buying 2 today for using with US… If your fan has a standard USB plug then of course it can. This is an adaptor AC to USB charger with three Standard USB ports. ALso two standard three prong AC outlets. I am not clear why they call USB outlets ports and not outlets or vice versa why not call AC outlets ports? Anyway I’m buying 2 today for using with USB fans in two places that our older home has no power near the windows. My husband often makes his own extension or power strips which are very heavy duty and UGLY of course. LOL still I have both USB and AC fans that fit in vertical sliding windows but no ports or outlets for either and get tired of moving a queen size guest room bed to put in an extention cord and then it only has AC. So I intend to attach this to just below the window and above the head area of the bed to always be handy for the summers when we need fans. The lamps and electric clock all have long enough cords to reach outlets but this will help if someone wants to move the clock to otherside of the bed too. Anyway that’s the plan and this is 2 dollars off today so it’s a good deal for us. Any shorter cord however it wouldn’t reach far enough up the wall to the window. I’m also looking at a 10 foot similar corded AC and USB port and adaptor but they are surge protected and not all things should runon surge protectors. I also do wish they had an on off rocker switch built into it. I prefer to keep it off when not in use. My husband can actually install one as he did with my Xmas light extension cords but would be nice if I didn’t have to hunt for a true white rocker switch now too.

How far does the plug stick out of the wall?

About 1 inch.

Can I use it for a microwave that needs 1700 watts of power?

Rated at 1624 w.

Amazon description Says “over current protection” & “short circuit protection”…but then it also says “no surge protection”..can anyone verify?

“over current protection” & “short circuit protection”….It’s for usb charging ports. and the outlet has no surge.

How long cord

The cord was too short I thought I was going to get the longer cord

Does it use power when nothing is plugged into it?

If it is like mine and has no indication lights on it then no it will not use any power unless something is plugged in , if it has indication lights it will use very little just to power those lights.

This appears to be a "left-handed" flat plug. Is there also a right-handed version?

it’s right

is it loose? as in do things plug in all the way because i’ve had experience of plugs just falling out and want to be sure.

Hi, its tight now but over time like you say they ten to break over time. I had even worse breakage with usb type c than the way they are fragile so be easy with them.

What type of usb is it I want to know if it’s usb 3.0?

Doesn’t matter. It is for charging items not for reading or writing to any particular media. You use it to plug in a usb charging cord that works with whatever you are trying to charge. It doesn’t transfer data from one type of media to another.

Exactly what I needed!

I needed a power strip to put on my bedside table to charge my cell phone, watch, and to plug my lamp into. Out of all of the strips that I searched for, this one had the best USB/plug ratio, and the size was compact, which is exactly what I wanted. I’ve had it next to my bedside for months, and it is still working perfectly. I would definitely recommend this purchase. Worth it!

fast charging

in addition to fast charging cable, a fast charging ports also helps. I had Samsung tablet and I used a regular cord and a regular charging port, and it is telling me it will take 7 hours to reach full charge daily. I do not have 7 hours daily for waiting. It is ridiculous so I upgraded a few power surge and it is down to 2-3 hours for some of my devices. I got this simple one with 2 outlets and 3 USB 3.1 A port, the fast one for my office. The design is simple, the cord is cover by fabric instead just black plastic. I use the 3.1 A usb ports more than the regular outlet.

Works Great.

Works great so far. I’ve had this for about a month and it’s done 100% of what was advertised and what I expected. I didn’t have too many strenuous requirements. I had too many cords on my desk, I wanted to be able to charge my phone and headphones off to the side of my computer (and not on the floor next to power-strip) so I plugged this into my power-strip and now this sits on my desk next to my monitor, and out of the way.

I haven’t checked voltage/throughput or anything but it charges my phone and headphones (from USB charging ports) and still has enough juice to run a laptop from one of the 2 outlet ports.

10/10 nothing to complain about and works great, looks great, cord is great length, etc. Would buy again if needed, thanks.

CAN YOU LOVE A POWER STRIP???

PROS: This power strip saves so much room while traveling. I love the fact that the output from the three USB charging slots is high amperage. I did not actually put a meter to them, but I can say that they charge as fast as my high output chargers with my Samsung S6 phone and KINDLE Fire. Five foot cord is just enough for most situations for CPAP and other items that have to get their electric juice at night.

CONS: Only con is if you travel a lot you really need to purchase an adapter at the store for going into two prong outlets as there are still places where three prongs are still not welcome. I find that just having one attached to the cord help for just such times.

Yes I’d buy this again. Not having to carry a charger in addition to much needed power cord is a blessing. And also I’d recommend this to friends.

Entertainment recliners power station

This power strip is a perfect power center for our entertainment loungers. The two recliners has a massage unit built in and needed to outlets for the 12 volt transformers. The USB ports are used to power and charge cell phones that sit on the table between the two recliners. The cord has a cloth like black and silver woven pattern that looks cool and so much better than a plastic shiny black cord.

Very well made. Would definitely recommend it.

Ok, so I needed this for a strange application. I needed to have this attached to my aquarium, but I needed to switch it on and off with a toggle switch that I built in to my tank’s hood that I built. When I opened it, I immediately noticed that this is a very well made unit. The bars on the inside (carrying the current) were thick, not the chinsey thin stuff I was expecting. The wire used was likely 14 or 16ga – not the 18ga I’ve seen in some. Everything works well. I also like the little green LED that indicates it’s getting power. One thing I will ding it for, and it’s really not that big of deal, is that there are no keyhole mounting holes – I created my own, but already having them would have been nice. Lastly, I don’t know if anyone else would need to modify one of these things, but it has triangle head screws – very rare – but to me, this only enhances the unit. Luckily, an old Wii I hacked into many years ago had the same screws, so I had one of these screwdrivers – I remember having to get one on eBay. Anyway, I would highly recommend this to anyone. It’s really handy. I’ll likely be buying more. Disregard the warped looking area on the strip – I did this when I was soldering my wires inside. One more thing, I like the off-set plug too. This makes it very convenient in some situations.

Great for my mom’s guest room

I bought two of these for the bedroom I stay in when I visit my mother. Her house was built in 1969, and the bedroom has a common problem for that period: the power outlets are located in the middle of each wall, where they’re often blocked by furniture. In this bedroom, one is behind a dresser and another is behind the head of the bed. This created a shortage of available outlets, which made charging my devices difficult.

Installing two of these made all the difference in the world. The flat plug was perfect for plugging them in between furniture and wall. Now there are two outlets and three USB ports right next to the nightstand, and another set next to the dresser. Charging my laptop, phone, Kindle, and smart watch is a breeze.

I’m a big fan of the braided cord, because it’s flexible and follows whatever path you want it to. Many power strips have stiff cords that prevent the power strip from lying flat or move it away from where you put it. This cord doesn’t do that, allowing me to place the strips unobtrusively so that my mother won’t trip over them. She probably won’t even notice them.

This is all you need for travel!

This review is strictly from a travel and charge testing perspective . I’ve used standard power strips before with the six outlet option on travel and the complaint with that is you have to bring the AC adapter and USB cable. Before you know it, you have this power strip with all these cable and devices coming off of it.

Well, with this product, all you have to bring is the USB cable(s) and your device. The USB ports do charge at the 3.1amp rate which is almost at the “Fast Charging” speed. I have a Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G that I tested with this product. Using the Samsung provided AC adapter and USB type C to type C cable, I get a super fast charging speed of over 1400mah. When I use a standard USB to type C cable (from old Note 8) plugged into any of the three USB ports, I get an average charge speed of 1200mah. So the speed is still there. I use the Android app AMPERE for the tests.

This product has made traveling easier because now you don’t have to worry about having “enough” ports or outlets to charge your devices in any hotel room. The power cord length is more then long enough to plug in behind the annoying night stand or dresser to extend out where it is accessible for you to use. I highly recommend this product.

Perfect Small Charging Station

We built a small narrow table onto the back of our sofa for cups, remotes, and this charging station as many of us are using our phones and laptops in the living room, these days. It’s absolutely perfect for this area. It’s got 2 regular outlets and 3 USB ports. The 5 ft cord is very sturdy and covered with a braided material and also has a flat right angle plug. Perfect for our needs and baby/toddler proofing the house. We are also ordering another for our travel trailer!

So convenient!

So convenient! I love this little power strip! I keep mine in my briefcase, and thankfully this one is small enough to do so. Occasionally we have lunch meetings at coffee shops or restaurants and people want to charge their laptops or cell phones so electrical ports become precious commodities. This device comes in handy especially at those times. It works very very well. I use mine often
