The cables are definitely heavy-duty, the thick jacket makes sure abrasion resistance is high. I had to re-wire one side of them due to the system I was using them on, so I had to cut one end off and put on a new connector. This allowed me to see the jacket and wiring, which looked to be of high quality. Once I re-wired them they worked great and I see no reason why they won’t last the lifetime of the devices they are connected to.

Can’t say there’s anything overwhelming about this product. Built good, but again it’s just a basic phone cord. If you’re looking for something you’d use on a modem make sure you buy a higher quality one; you can get some specifically made to increase speed. This one is simply basic, good for a phone.

This phone cord has lasted longer than the last few. I won’t say it’s "wife-proof" or "vacuum cleaner proof" but it hasn’t died yet.

This cord is somewhat wider and more sturdy than the cord I had before. Once I got it plugged in I stopped having all the problems I had been having with the old cord. I would recommend this particular cord without hesitation. Also the price is excellent!
