I purchased this cord for use with an Apple TV4k. There was no way the factory Apple cord would reach the plug I needed, so I took a flyer… to my pleasure this cord not only fit but also was thin, sturdy, and easy to add to my cord management system.

Mounted my TCL 4K Roku TV high up and needed a bit more cord length to reach the outlet. This was much better than using an extension cord which would have connected along the wall area.

Edit: Going on 2 years and ZERO issues! Reinforces the recommendation to get this.

Original review: Bought this to replace the short power cable on my TCL 65S4, since it was much too short to reach my surge protector. It was a simple task to remove the old cable and plug this one in. So far it’s worked perfectly; I feel much better knowing my TV is protected against power surges, and the extra length will come in handy when it’s time to hang it against the wall and hide away some cables. The cable seems solid and well made, and looks like it can easily handle a lifetime of use.

Definitely recommend this if you’re looking for some extra length to the small TV table that came from the factory.

With this new longer power cord, I was able to tie the cord up against the TV wall mount, and route it through the flex-conduit that I use to cover all the input cables…..
This leaves me with one single conduit running up from the DVR to the TV, and I have painted it the same color as the wall…. so it now looks like the TV is floating on the wall….with no visible connection to anything.
The spouse loves this….so everyone is happy.

The power cord that came with the television had a 90* configuration on the power inlet side which goes into receptacle. That is great consideration for most if you are needing to get the television close to the wall such as a refrigerator. The reason I ordered this “straight inlet” is because the 90* cord takes up two spaces on an inline power strip which is what I have, and I have many power cords necessitating a long strip. So I was happy to find this configuration and will still keep the manufacturers cord for another use later.

These plugs will pretty much work with any TV (or appliance i.e. streaming box, DVD player, etc…) with a two prong female receptacle, and my Sharp TV was no different. I think most TV’s come with about a 6ft. plug. Not long enough for my project to install a wall mounted, hidden cable, TV in the living room. This 12ft fit the bill perfectly.

I needed about 2X length over my OEM Samsung cord for a high wall mount location.

For about $11, this cord works perfectly.

The cord has a solid and strong casing on it and fits snugly, the same snug way in my Samsung that my OEM cord did. It holds very securely in its vertical position in the socket facing upward.

I noticed the a/c prongs for the wall outlet are bit lighter gauge than the OEM cord and flex a little more due to lighter gauge metal used for the plug, but, not an issue really since the tv cord rarely is removed and plugged in again.

The a/c plug is snug and stable as well, no flexing or looseness and it holds snuggly in the a/c receptacle.

All in all, exactly what I was expecting and wanted in a longer cord for my wall installation. 5 Stars, no complaints!!!

I’m putting 3/4″ 200 psi plastic water pipes in the wall to hide the cords above my fireplace and got this to run the power in the channel (plastic pipe) from the outlet to my TV. Putting an actual outlet about the fireplace would have been a major project and I wanted to hide the HDMI cables too so this 12′ long power cord is perfect. The cord is nice and flexible and doesn’t feel like cheap plastic. I had to take a rotary rasp to the inside of 2 plastic 45 degree pipe corners since the plug would not go through a regular 90 degree elbow but that was no problem.

My parents recently got a new flat screen tv, and wanted to put it up on top of this bookcase thing they have. The regular cord that came with their tv was only like 6 foot, or maybe a little less. So once they got the TV plugged in, the power strip it was plugged into was dangling from the TV cord. I bought this one for them to remove that problem before is caused bigger problems.

The cord is nice and long, maybe even a bit longer than the 12 foot. Both ends fit their respective plugs tightly. The cable itself feels to be a decent thickness and is quite flexible.

Overall a nice cable if you need the extra length.

Wall mounted my new TCL 55” television (model 55S21, an early Black Friday deal) and found the provided power cord was too short. Ordered this replacement and it’s a perfect fit. Powered the tv right up and there’s no lag in communication with the remote. An inexpensive fix, delighted that I found this on Amazon. Bonus – I ordered it Saturday and it arrived on Sunday!! Now enjoying all my shows and movies in 4K on a big screen.
