Having the heat or ac on doesn’t affect the cell phone at all. It’s a good holder for the price and works well. I had no problems with using it on a recent trip.

If it has horizontal vents you’re fine. I have a Nissan Versa and it works perfectly. Great price and it’s easy to mount and holds my phone perfectly.

i don’t know. I have an Iphone XS and it holds it but it always turns and moves. It’s not very sturdy but i think it is the "ball" that lets it rotate.

Hi, I didn’t measure the hook but its small enough to fit into all standard vents. It’s made specifically for that. I have a 2009 Honda accord and most car and truck vents have standard openings

It does expand abit more than my Galaxy S10 needs. It also has a hook to attach this to a vent so I had to use one the smaller ones (speaker I think) by my driver’s door since my heat/AC vents are too wide but it’s ok since I just want it to hold phone when using the GPS feature. My 2010 Chevy HHR doesn’t come those extras 😁

I didn’t rate any stars for “suction power” or “adhesion” simply because they are not applicable for this item as it doesn’t use either method.

I really, REALLY like this little thing! Its not big and bulky like the ones with the big suction cup and you don’t have to worry about trying to get adhesive off of your dash later on like the ones that use adhesive. I bought this to replace one of those big bulky suction cup holders that I bought a couple of years ago that no longer worked at all. The suction cup in it lost its cup shape last summer in the heat on the windshield, it flattened out so much it could not longer hold any suction at all. I need my phone for work and I need to be able to access Google Maps while working. I looked through a bunch of different types of phone holders and really liked this one. It didn’t have many reviews at the time, and was similar to others with more reviews, but it was a really good price and I really liked the design and simplicity of it. The button on the back to release the arms is awesome! It fits the air vent just to the right of the steering wheel perfectly. It was really easy to slip in the vent and tighten the first part, then pop on the second part and tighten it. The second piece pops onto the first, which has a ball shape at the end of the post, making it easy to adjust the angle the phone is facing one handed. My old holder was annoying from day one and it always took both hands to get it in the clip thing that held it. This one is easily handled one handed, I set the arms to cradle my phone close enough that it can’t fall forward out of it, but loose enough that I can lift my phone up through the top without having to open the holder.

Overall, this is a nice looking, simple, and compact sized little holder that works great and doesn’t eat up space. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to others.

I used this with the vent clip since my dashboard has a dashboard cover. I love that it projects out from the vent instead of covering it fully, so there’s no blockage of AC flowing. Clip was a snap to install and it grips my Galaxy22+ easily, no risk of it falling out. There’s a button on the back that pops open the arms to release your phone, and I appreciate the open space left on the bottom of the cradle for a charging cord (my last vent clip was a solid bar across the bottom, you couldn’t charge and have it sit on the cradle at the same time).

The media could not be loaded.  When I opened it, it was very easy to assemble. The holder clips on the air vent pretty securely. The silver button on the side will open the side arms, and then once you put the phone in the cradle, it automatically closes reasonably tight. It does charge well and comes with a cord. The mounts for the vents are a little strange, and if you have an older vehicle like mine where vents move up and down, the weight will drag them straight down, but it is so adjustable that it still is at a good angle. Keep in mind that this will not work for you if you have circle vents.

Been looking for a car phone holder that didn’t use suction cups or sticky tape to mount in my 2017 Honda Civic. Was hesitant to use ones that mounting on your vent fins cause I have a big phone (iPhone pro max) and I’ve seen the mounts break the vent fins. I came across this one that has a unique mounting system that grabs on to one vent fin then uses two others to mount against and holds the mount secure plus makes it a much stronger way to mount to the vents. Watch their video and you’ll see. You do lose the ability to direct the vent and it ends up blocking the vent (doesn’t plug it, air still comes out) but it’s a plus cause on the vent I installed it on always blows into my face and now it doesn’t.

This is without a doubt the most sturdy mount I’ve had for one of these. And it was not hard at all to mount it. The phone bracket itself has a soft rubber that grips the phone and the release button has some size to it making it easier to release the phone when ready. The weakest link (and don’t let this take away from the quality) is the spinning lock and ball that connects the mount to the bracket. I had to give it some extra “love” to ensure the phone didn’t sag when we hit some bumps in the road. I think a rubber ball with a solid core would easily eliminate this issue making this the best all around.

I like this holder simply it is working well and easy to install. The Qifutan phone holder is less expensive and fits to my car air vent perfectly. The installation was less than a minute and it holds my iPhone 13-Pro firmly. This holder gives me the options of mounting the phone either vertical or horizontal positions which I like it a lot. I used to have a phone holder which used magnetic to hold my phone. The issue was that the metal piece attached to the back of the phone constantly gave me trouble with my wireless charge. This new phone holder resolves the charging problem because no metal piece is needed anymore. I recommend it.

After testing several car phone holders that do not provide reliable mounting and gets disconnected easily I found a good one. The hook idea is brilliant and works well. It is easy to mount and very sturdy. The back button works very well to remove the phone and it is easy to tighten it again when you put the phone back in it. I use it for travel and I install it in different models of rental cars and it works on all of them. I have a protective case on my phone so the magnetic solution would not work for me and this is a great alternative.

Let’s be honest, we all get tired of phone holders that break or wear out in the first 3 months. When I first opened the package I was intrigued. The mount itself is a bit larger than traditional air vent clip mounts – but for good reason. The cradle is wonderfully adaptive for all size phones, allows flexibility to tilt to the angle you’d like and also ALLOWS for air flow! The quick release button on the back is simple to access and has prevented wear in the outside of my phone case as well as the unit itself. The open chamber at the base of the mount lets you charge while driving. The mount clip does take a moment to figure out – so be patient. Once you’ve found the groove and tightened it to an acceptable level, you absolutely won’t have to worry about movement. Great product & highly recommended!

First of all my order came well on time and it was nicely boxed. The phone holder is a simple one piece system that is incredibly simple to install in just a 2-3 minutes. Depending on how deep the blades of the vent is your car is, you would loosen the vent holding clips to just over the width of the vent blades. <y car had deep blade vents so I had to loosen it real wide. The makers of this had smartly anticipated various vent blade widths making it so universal. Once you hook it and tighten it in place, the holder is ready for your phone. It has a notch at the bottom to clear the charging cable. The rotation and tilting will accommodate any viewing angle you would like. Highly recommend this product and it is very reasonably priced!
