The RAM-B-347U base consists of a 1″ diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to a 2″ x 1.7″ square base. The base has four pre-drilled holes at each corner, making the universal 1.5 x 1.188 (hole spacing) AMPS hole pattern.

Not knowing what a Proclips Phone Holder is in regard to ball size and mount holes location, I really cannot say. However, if the mount holes do not line up, you can always redrill holes in the proper location to fit the Proclips. Or, you could clue the Ram Mount to the Proclips. I went to Amazon and looked at pictures of Pro Clip Phone Holders, but I cannot tell from the picture whether the Ram Mount Base is adaptable or not, nor can I really tell exactly what kind of mount combination you have in mind. Perhaps if you could explain a little more what your intentions are, then I could offer more help……….SHALOM……Brother Randahl
This plate offers the universal AMPS hole pattern. If your Juggernaut galaxy note 8 vehicle mount also offers the universal AMPS hole pattern then the two parts could be bolted together.
I’ve bought these from at least 2 different vendors and they have not. Just the 2 inch base as pictured. The holes are not concave or conical, so you can use small bolts or drill it out to use screws.

Info About RAM Mounts Ball Adapter with AMPS Plate RAM-B-347U with B Size 1" Ball (Reviews From Amazon)
I was on a mission to find the best phone mount for my cars so I did the research and bought the top 5 phone holders to try them out in my 5 different cars. In the end I found that ProClip has the best mount by far… if you happen to like the very limited location choices you have for your specific vehicle. I loved the location for my F150 and hated it for my BMW’s. I overall liked the Ram mounts second but the “X” phone mount was obnoxious to use on a regular basis and a little overkill unless you’re on a motorcycle or ATV.
The solution was to mate the best phone mount of the ProClip with the best windshield mount of the Ram. Fortunately this adapter allows you to do this perfectly. All you’ll need is 4 X #4 1/2″ machine screws & nuts. If vibration is a concern for you, get them 3/4″ in length and you can add a split-lock washer or a nylock nut.
Buy with confidence, this piece will mate your ProClip phone holder to your Ram arm & windshield mount.
PS MagicMount was the worst of everything I tested. Avoid unless you have the very lightest of phones and a very smooth riding vehicle.
I found Ram mounts a few years ago and love them. Just purchased a couple more pieces, so my review is copy and pasted from my updated review from a previous purchase.
RAM mounts are still the best mount I’ve found. Not going to find anything better. Very simple design that’s brilliantly executed. I’ve never been satisfied with other options such as suction cups or double sided tape mounts. They’ll all fail at some point. Then a few years ago I discovered Ram mounts. Made my first purchase and I couldn’t have been happier. I’ve now purchased multiples of the 1" ball for camera mounting over the years for various applications. My most current usage was to mount a 6" cell phone on the dash of a 2012 Camry for Pandora/Google Maps. I wanted something secure and adjustable, yet easy to remove. Ram fits the bill. For this setup, I used the following products (I’ll supply links at the end):
Ram Mount 1-Inch Ball with 1/4-Inch 20 Male Threaded Post for Cameras
Ram Mount 2 x 1.7 Inches Base with 1-Inch Ball
Ram Mount Composite Short Double Socket Arm for 1-Inch Ball
Part of a Vastar Universal Smartphone Tripod Adapter
3/4" Phone and Fax Plastic Grommet
Luckily enough, my Camry has a large section of trim around the clock on the dash. The whole thing comes out very easily. I removed the trim piece and disconnected the clock from it. Marked out my holes for the 2" x 1.7" Ram mounting plate. I mounted the base plate with black bolts to blend in with everything. I also sandwiched a small piece of black rubber shelf liner to eliminate any possible squeaking. Whilst the dash is fairly flat where I mounted it there is a very slight curve. The 1" ball mount for cameras get attached to the upper part of the Vastar Universal Smartphone Tripod Adapter, the short composite Ram arm connects it all together. I also drilled another hole in the clock trim piece to run a USB cable in-dash behind the radio. I used the 3/4" phone/fax grommet to finish it off and give a professional look.
I couldn’t be more happy with how this turned out. It’s very easy to use and it’s something that can be quickly removed if I don’t want to leave it in the car. The only thing that stays behind is the mounting plate that’s bolted to the dash and the USB cable. I think car’s should come with something similar to this. It’s not far from eye level yet doesn’t block my view.

Installed very easily once I made a trip to the big box store to grab wing nuts and bolts. If I remember correctly, it uses #10-24 screws because 1/4″ – 20 was too big to fit inside.
I have 1.5″ bars on my Road Glide Special and was looking for something to mount a Power Vision to them with. Since the PV has the AMPS mount built-in, I ordered this and the RAM Torque base with short arm. Simple installation and holds tight. Easy adjustments and easy to tighten once in-place. Add the security knob to deter thieves and you’re all set. I love it.
The hole pattern on the base plate is only about 1 mm difference than a joysick base. I drilled out 2 of the holes a bit bigger and it fit perfect. Easy way to move a joystick from the arm of the chair to the back. A handle bar ball mount is all that is needed.
Mounted 3 of these on the dash of our Ranger for hold two cell phones and a GPS. Used rivets and an aluminum backup plate inside the dash plate – resulting in a sturdy and professional-looking mount.
Works good with Proclip phone holder, just drill out Proclip holes to 3/16 and bolt through with #10-24 X5/8 bolts and flat nuts.
Clamps well. I have several ram mount products. I give them all a 5 star rating.
Use this to Mount a large boat mirror to fiberglass cabinet. Works as I had hoped.
The RAM mounting system is incredible. Well thought out and has many versatile applications.
