Yes . It’s a universal piece for all the cradles. You will also need whatever piece needed to mount on your vehicle; for other end of socket arm,,same ball diameter. Mine works great on Goldwing GL 1800.

If you have no obstacles 90 degrees should be no problem

if you have a space that is 2inch by 1inch then you can mount it on with two phillps head screws and you are good to go

This part would mount to your dash. You would also need an arm with sockets that connect to the ball and a cradle that will hold your gps that has a ball on it that fits the arm (same ball as this part).

If you buy the Ram cradle for your device I am sure it will include the proper screws. Otherwise the first answer is correct . To fit flush they should be tapered behind the head . 1/8 is largest I would use .

No hardware is included as the manufacturer doesn’t know the specs of what it’s being mounted to. RAM cradles generally have hardware that connects to the RAM-B-238U.

Hi RAM this part does NOT fit directly into a factory Garmin OEM cradle. There are also some other manufacturers that may have the part you are looking for. However, we are only a RAM dealer.

The usual high quality you expect from Ram, used to Mount a a Garmin Zumo that comes with Rams fittings.

For the price it’s one of Rams more bargain products, if you need to Mount anything on a motorbike you can’t go wrong.

I’ve purchased a few of these. The quality is consistently excellent and the mount is flexible but very secure. The RAM Mount ball and socket system is a bit klunky because it’s overbuilt for most applications, but that’s exactly what I want when mounting an expensive phone to the handlebars on an adventure motorcycle that might be run over pot holes and washboard dirt roads.

After determining what I needed to cobble together the correct phone mount for my motorcycle, I settled on Ram products and couldn’t be happier. Everything is built well and was easy to install. No issues with mounting and has held up to the miles of use and hours in the sun.

I have a GPS mount that I modified to use the 1″ ball mount. I put this ball in each of my vehicles to allow great portability from car to jeep to motorhome to SxS. I have little problems with slipping except an occasional slip in the SxS over rough terrain. I just need to remember to crank it down a little harder before hitting the bumps.

This is proof that this will fit directly in a 04-07 cbr 1000rr. Not sure if it will other years or not.

I did not have to fabricate at all. It was a little tight though. The spacing could have been wider but it fit. You will need to replace the stock screws though. No big deal.

Use two of these to mount on my extra cargo storage attached to my jetski. These things are STRONG, providing a solid base for my action cameras deployed on my jetski.

These ram mounts are perfect. They are strong, adjust easily, well designed, heavy-duty, and just what I wanted. I use them together to hold my cell phone in my car. Perhaps that is overkill, but I hate the blurry view you get with other holders that don’t hold things as stable. I screwed the base unit into the console on my vehicle, and use this arm and the X-grip to hold everything in place. Highly recommended.

I almost balked at the price, but decided based on other reviews that I would simply be paying for the best. I was exactly right. You might might the price a bit, but you certainly won’t mind the quality.

These mounts are wounderful. I use them in my semi truck for my phone, gps, tablet and they are sturdy. Worth the money

RAM mounts are awesome. I’ve used them for 15 years on motorcycles, trailers and boats. Always stable, never worried.

The screw holes are same width apart as the round bases but only two holes. These will hold as well as 4 holes. Great product and works well with RAM systems.
