Unfortunately the only product we offer that is compatible with the 17mm ball from Garmin is from our Snap Link product line, we don’t currently have a drill down base that is compatible with that size ball. Our apologies we could not be of more assistance with your application.

I couldn’t find a Magsafe charger that was compatible with Ram Mount so I made one. I bought this and the MANKIW Magsafe Magnetic Charging Pad and superglued it to the bottom of this plate. This way, I have a magnetic phone holder as well as a charger without having to “insert” my phone into anything. And the new car wireless chargers are very inconveniently located. I like it because it is sturdy (doesn’t bounce around) and I can see my GPS but also easily removable when I get out of the car or if I need to send a text at a light.

I purchased 2 of these ram ball and installed them on my motorcycle dash. It fits nicely under my windshield of my Honda ST1300. I’m able to put a phone on one side and a GPS on the other side. I don’t think they’ll catch a lot of water from the rain in this location. It doesn’t mount well on curvy surfaces, but I made it work. I still have a good view of the road in this location. It has plenty of mount holes and it didn’t come with screws.

I can’t say enough good things about RAM and their products. Excellent design, extremely durable, reliable, simple to use, and customizable. I have a canoe, boat, float tubes, and a kayak. ALL have been fitted with ram mounts and I am easily able to move my fishing electronics from vessel to vessel with easy and simplicity. They offer superior performance to any similar style mount system available, I would choose RAM over anything else in a heartbeat .

I got the one that uses screws on the base so it works perfect. Once the phone is on the holder it will have a half an inch of play (clockwise and counterclockwise) but only if you try to move it by hand. It won’t move just left alone

I used this to cover up a hole on my boat and have a mount for my phone charger. It looks great and fits the charger I purchased perfectly!

I wanted to mount a Wyze outdoor camera outside. The Wyze mounting did not have the adjustment ability of this unit.
Have had RAM products in the past and can recommend them completely.

It doesn’t have suction?? It bolts fast. I love ram mounts. Use many of them in different configurations over several years and have never been disappointed. Forget suction cups. They will eventually fail and possibly damage your electronics from dropping.

Easy to install. Using it to mount my GPS. I have this mount on two boats and use the same GPS on both boats.

I have bought about ten or twelve of these over the past 15 years, and still use all of them for different RAM mounts on motorcycles, trucks, cars, and boats, and camera mounts. They work good !
