The one that came with the mount was too small. This has a good size. I like it better overall in comparison to those generics that have pointy corners.
Works great with my RAM Ez-Strap mount and Pixel XL. The 2 that came with the mount broke within a month. This new one is a great replacement.
Bought the x mount system but the tether for regular iPhones was too small and tore after the 2nd mounting, so I recommend using this one instead. No movement even at speeds over 100mph so definitely happy with the product.
There is no suction or adhesion for this Item. It is a tension item an works well for it’s intended purpose

The only problem o have with these . I take the phone in and out of the tether several times a day . Eventually a corner at a time rips. These are used daily in a semi . I usually get a month or 2 max out 1 x band.

Overall a great mounting system. If you have a larger smart phone, or ride a bit of off-road, as I do, this is a must have accessory for the Ram Mount as you WILL loose your phone at some point without it. My only real issue is that over the past 2 years I have had to replace this strap 3 times as it has broken 3 times. I admit that I am a bit rough on it and I am asking a lot from the system. Again, not really a complaint as it is a relitively inexpensive and easy fix. It could just be built a bit better.
