Facts About Randconcept – 95mm 3M VHB Adhesive Dashboard Pad Mounting Disk for Suction Cup Phone Mount & Garmin GPS Suction Mount | 3.74" Wide Diameter 2 Pcs
If this product can survive the hot sun in Florida (although we have a windshield sunshade in our RV), it can survive in Texas! We also cover it over with a towel. Great product!!
Slick smooth like glass plastic so the suction cup on gps will stick and can clean easily
These will stick anywhere. Beware, once you’ve stuck them on they are not easy to get off. Personally I’d not recommend a windshield. But the answer to your question is yes.
I use mine to hold my 8” GPS in place. Can’t say it will hold a IPAD
I did not remove any of mine yet but I don’t think it hurt your dash 3M make good things. It holds on good to the dash and the phone holder just find a got spot for both🇺🇸
No it does not include the device holder just the pad
Not only is it removable, but it doesn’t adhere to my dashboard at all! This 3M VHB adhesive is barely even tacky and refuses to stick at all to my faux leather-textured dashboard!
My dash on my 2005 Toyota Highlander has very little flat areas on the dash. It has a small pebble like texture. The disc is still stuck to the dash for several months now with no problems.
You can remove the suction-cup GPS holder and and put it back on again. The dashboard mounting disk is not meant to move around, but you could probably re-use it by putting more double-sided sticky tape on it.
Sticky on one side for windshield and the other side for suction cup a little sticky just to hold suction cup, but I suggest a new suction cup and no dirt on used one .
I use mine with my Garman in a car, I am not sure what Rand Mcnally 7" is, sorry
I cleaned my dash, that is plastic with alcohol, and stuck pad on, and waited about a few hours before I put my 7 inch GPS on it. So far 6months later, still holding. You get 2 with order, so you have a spare.
I don’t have a answer for that.
But I had it on my dashboard took off my GPS and the pad came off with it ,beware of this problem.
It should work fine. The adhesive is very strong. And the surface for using a suction cup mount is mirror smooth.
No se pega bien al dashboard
Info About Randconcept – 95mm 3M VHB Adhesive Dashboard Pad Mounting Disk for Suction Cup Phone Mount & Garmin GPS Suction Mount | 3.74" Wide Diameter 2 Pcs (Reviews From Amazon)
So far so good I followed instructions (cleaned area, applied disk, added weight (jar of pennies), waited 24hrs, attached my phone mount. Its installed in my 2020 freightliner cascadia and has been great so far. It’s been in 100+ outside temps and still holding strong.
Using this in the dash in my Kenworth. So far so good. It’s holding a 10.5 tablet with mount for GPS.
I used to hate suction mount accessories, they fall off at the slightly presence of texture making them about as useless as in-home printers.
This pad fixes that forever. Whether you’re mounting a phone holder to your car dash, or a shower caddy on the wall, throw this sucker down, give it 3 days to achieve maximum adhesion, and then mount your accessory and marvel at it remains in place for literally 2+ years so far.
Highly recommend.
PS. If removing from a covered surface, like the leather over a car dash, place fingers of one hand firmly around the disc as your peel up with the other hand. I haven’t damaged anything removing these yet, but they definitely prefer not to be removed so I recommend doing so carefully.
Was having issues with keeping my phone holder secured to the dash after some time plus move to higher heat. The manufacturer of the holder recommended your product with which I was familiar. Your product adheres even during high heat and my phone holder now stays put. Many thanks for a great product.
Glad to have bought this product, because it solved a recurrent problem: the grab bars kept falling off the 3M 3.0-inch discs that were meant to hold them on the shower wall. The new discs are larger than 3 inches. They come with alcohol wipes to clean the surface the adhesive sticks to. What I did was to use the old discs as the contact surfaces and cleaned those with the wipes. Then I pressed the suction cups on the dry surface and pressed the air out and applied the lock… ; my placement of the grab bars was imperfect; some of the mirrored part shows but the bar feels much more firmly attached.. immovable, in fact. Thanks for making the better discs!
The dashboard mounted phone holder I have kept falling off. It would stick well for a while, but then unexpectedly, it would fall off while driving down the road. Moreover, since it actually has good suction, it would leave an indentation on the dash, which I found concerning…that it would become permanent over time.
This adheres beautifully to the dash, and it has been over a month since I installed it and not once has my phone holder fallen off. I can’t speak to how cleaning it comes off down the road, but when I go do sell it, I’ll just leave in on there. It is useful and something the next buyer will want to have anyway. Highly recommend. I got the large one, even though the smallest one would have done the job. Gives me more flexibility when mounting.
The 95mm was really bigger than what I needed but it’s good in case I upgrade my GPS in the future. I followed the instructions and cleaned the dash well first. Then, I used the alcohol wipes before applying the disc with the double sided tape. I let it set for a full day before using. Very easy to install and use. I use a few drops of water on the suction cup before I apply it. I’ve been on some really bumpy roads in my freightliner and the gps hasn’t fallen off. It’s a 7 inch Garmin dezl.
I was looking for a better solution to having my GPS mounted other than my windshield, so far so good after 2 weeks this thing still holding good it comes with two so worse come to worse this one fails , I have another for a backup but main thing is just clean the area real good . I left mine alone for about a full day then I put my GPS on it just to make sure it’s stuck good like I say so far so good
My Garmin 1090 (10″ screen weighs 18+ ounces) would not stick to my dash plate. I found this on Amazon and since it would adhere to rough surfaces, I thought I’d give it a try. I followed the easy instructions and leaned a 5lb weight on it overnight. Stuck the Garmin on it and it held over the 2 weeks we were on the rode in the RV. We hit bumps hard enough that detached the Garmin from its magnetic base, but the Dashboard Pad Mounting Disk held steadfast…Going to buy another one…
I guess the best way 2 explain these is I liked them such I bought another set 2 spares. I use them in my log truck to hold my cell phone holder and GPS bcuz the dash in newer Kenworth trucks won’t let suction cups stick. So I tried these and let me say 4 those who don’t know log trucks are on rough off hwy roads and these stay put and so do my devices. Bought a spare pair just so I have them on hand when I get my new truck.
