hi, it doesn’t need to pair to use, normally just add the batteries in and it worked immediately. If yours couldn’t work, you could change the battery to try or turn off the tv, wait a few minutes to try with the replacement remote.

I didn’t have to pair it at al. I put in the batteries and it worked right away.

It should have all the same functions as the original controller. It’s just not made by roku. My TV is an ONN so I can’t speak for rca

I don’t know. I bought it for. An LG Roku TV. After my WiFi was upgraded the Roku app on my phone no longer worked. The original remote was broke by my grandchild so I had to order this remote and I’m glad I did. It connected quickly with my tv as if it was made for my LG Roku TV. Try it. It’s not that expensive.

Yes, you most certainly can. I usually turn on the closed captioning on my TV early in the morning when I’m watching the morning news so I don’t disturb my family. Also, I have trouble hearing.

I had the same question as mine stopped working a week after purchasing.

Only an hour in but it works great on my onn tv. No setup needed. Worked right out of the box. I like that the quick keys are all the apps I actually use (I’ve seriously never met anyone on vudu) its also a tad slimmer. My original roku remote decides to quit working intermittently aside from the volume keys. Its barely 5 months old. Hopefully this new one holds up better

I disliked that my 1 year old lab found it very tasty the exact day I got it. Never got to use it. Should have kept it higher up as he also chewed on the one before that and the one out in the living room. I now know better.

I’ve been using the remote on my Sharp Roku TV for about two months now and it works flawlessly. The buttons all provide the same tactile feedback when pressed and control placement is identical to the original. The remote is slightly smaller and lighter but doesn’t reduce the size or placement of those controls. The resulting change in shape made the use of the volume and mute controls awkward for the way i used to hold the remote. All in all it’s what I’d buy again for a replacement.

Worked perfect right out of the box with my TCL Roku TV. EXCELLENT CHOICE OF STREAMING SERVICE BUTTONS. AND I love the Sleep button. Great job, will definitely order a second one at this price as a backup!

My son lost the original remote that came with our TCL Roku TV and I was doing some research and was finding that there are different kinds of remotes, ones that work without pointing at tv and ones that don’t. I decided to just go for it and it works perfectly! Pop 2 AAA batteries and it works good as new, don’t have to pair it or anything!

The new replacement remote works as well as the original. I can’t ‘feel’ all the choices because they are different by 1 choice from the original. The volume buttons have a bit of contour that was not on the original. Since we have 2 Roku TV’S, the difference is taking a little getting used to. I think I will love it. (We’re going to purchase covers for the remotes in an attempt to make them easier to find in dim light & especially when beside the black dog’s leg)

I needed a replacement for the Roku TV remote that I couldn’t find after I moved. This works fine and it came with batteries, so it was very convenient and reasonably priced.

Worked without issue and had buttons more useful than the one that came with my original roku.

One downside in the weird bevel on the sides. Wouldn’t be an issue except the volume button is also on the side and pressing it one handed can push the whole remote up out of your hand if you’re not careful (my previous one didn’t have this bevel so I always loosely gripped it one handedly).

Bought this as a replacement control for my 55” element tv. As soon as I put the batteries in the control started working. I did not have to set remote up or anything. The remote instantly worked. Thanks to this amazing seller. Can’t beat the price either.
