I looked at these tapes very carefully for some kind of marking that would indicate country of origin. There’s nothing! However, they work just fine. Wish I could be of more help.

20 year old tapes I’ve tested still have my dictation dialogue on them due to the great design of the original cassette format. Old 5.25 inch floppy disks from my DOS computer went bad in 5 years!

Cassette will remain my dictation format forever and should still be advertised as the best. It is small yet a good hand holdable size as are the little battery recorders it uses.

New memory stick recorders are too small and too easy to loose or break.

Cassette is not obsolete tech, instead, Cassette is “best tech” over all others.

I picked up a bunch of Reshow Cassette tapes because my local stores no longer carry them (one retailer told me sold well, despite what he considered a limited use, but that he couldn’t get stock anymore so discontinued them). These are brand new (new old stock?) and come individually wrapped. The shrink wrap has helped keep their storage pristine, meaning no aging / rot on the tape portion.

I am a retro-gamer and developer, and have a C64 with Tape Drive. These Reshow Audio Cassette Tapes worked flawlessly in the Tape Drive for both saving data, and retrieving it. For newer tech, fast loading algorithms require high fidelity with bias. I’m happy to report that fast loaders like Turbo Tape run quite well on this cassette. The long length of the tape is excellent for extended storage.

I have not used these for audio recording yet but plan to.
Bottom line: excellent performance, good price on increasingly harder to find media, and new stock / high quality. I think these tapes better than Sony and Maxell tapes. I picked up 10 of these, because I didn’t want to take a chance on this listing disappearing. Found it cheaper to buy multiple singles over the five pack. Arrived very quickly. Very happy.

I know that it’s not every day that someone goes looking for a cassette tape anymore, but by a freak chance, I happened to need some cassettes in a hurry for a church service (they don’t have a CD setup). So I first looked at the local stores, which was of no luck, so I naturally went to Amazon, and was once again saved by the massive selection.

Maxell has always been an excellent brand, and I don’t think I have every used any cassette other than Maxell. These are quiet tapes and don’t produce any noise.

I don’t know what else to say about these. If you just happen to need a cassette, these are a great option.
