Yes, it can be washed. Machine wash cold in a lingerie bag.
Yes, it is!
It’s soft. Like a plush
Front cover, back cover crinkle, with 8 pages inside.
Kids toys don’t tend to have chemicals in them. The crinkle is caused by a piece of plastic in between the fabric.
US
I believe age appropriate refers to not having choking hazards and the design is for that specific age period to promote visual, auditory, tactile and oral development.
The front & back cover crinkles. There are 3 spreads inside with a peek-a-boo flap over the right side on each page. Thanks!
I’m not sure. This one only had one page that was crinkly which was disappointing for me so this might fit your need as most of it does not.
I wouldn’t put the book in the dryer .
Of course not. CHINA
Info About Sassy Peek-a-Boo Activity Book with Attachable Link for On-The-Go Travel | Black & White | for Ages Newborn and Up (Reviews From Amazon)
Best high contrast texture book and at such a cheap price! My newborn LOVES it! I wish there were more like them. I would definitely recommend it for parents or for people looking for something to add-on to a baby shower gift.
My 3 month old loves this book! The crinkle sound and black and white contrast keep her attention and the ring at the top is an added bonus as she loves to chew on it.
I bought this book for my first grandson and it was one of the first things he actually looked at for long periods. It has flaps that crinkle and lift up. The perfect size for little hands and arms. I liked it so much I bought another one for my second grandson and he, too, loves it. The pages are just so bright and engaging with black, white, red and yellow. One caution ….. my daughter in law washed it and the red color bled everywhere, so don’t wash it. She still uses it, but the brightness is muted now.
Cute little book that can easily grow with my baby. The high contrast images make it a worth while purchase for her now as a newborn, and the crinkle pages will be great when she starts to grab things. The peek a boo flaps will help in learning object permanence, plus the simple words for when she starts learning to read. I can see this becoming a favorite go to toy.
We clipped this book to the bar on my baby’s activity mat, and this is one of his favorite things on there to grab and play with. He loves to touch it, look at it, and put it in his mouth. He hasn’t gravitated towards a lot of toys, so it always makes me really excited when he actually seems to like something. Very happy I grabbed this for him.
This is a great black and white book. It is a good value for the price. My granddaughter loves to “read” it. The pages that the child lifts to find the hidden animal is a good chance for her to practice her pinching and fine motor skills.
Even though my little boy so far could care less for this toy I would say that it is a good purchase. He just turned 3 months and this book just hasn’t gotten his attention. Maybe when he gets older. He does like another black and white pattern toy I got for him so I don’t know why this book is not entertaining to him. But anyway besides my son not really taking to it yet, it’s a good toy.
Really impressed with how much the child has loved this book . It is still very much enjoyed at 13 month, loved it at 8.5 months, and it would have been loved earlier than that I’m sure.
pros:
Lots of different high contrast patterns
crinkly cover, page turning, lifting up hiding flap give the child different things to do as they get better at using their hands.
cons:
I haven’t found any!
I thought it was a bit pricey considering how many black and white book options are out there. However, I like that I can just toss this into the wash with my baby clothes. As a newborn, baby mostly just looked at it while getting changed. By the time baby can hold it to play with the crinkle pages, the book itself is a bit too simplistic.
I think my son likes it . He is two and half months old . This is his first black and white cloths book . Hopefully I got the right cloth book for him .
Conclusion
In conclusion, the Sassy Peek-A-Boo Activity Book is a three in one activity book: a book with peek-a-boo holes, a book with eyes that move, and a book that has a link on it for on-the-go travel. The eyes move up and down, just like in the movie. The book has a plastic link so it can be attached to a child’s diaper bag or car seat so the child can see it while in their car seat.
