Facts About Sturdy CD Slot Phone Mount with One Hand Operation Design, APPS2Car Hands-Free Car Phone Holder Universally Compatible with All iPhone & Android Cell Phones, for Smartphone Mobile
I had to send it back. I have a Galaxy 3 and it didn’t fit into the cd player.
Over all answer would be no. But based on the type of car you might. I can still play a cd in my 2004 Highlander.
It should. It works for my 2013 civic
Do you have a CD player in your Jeep? If so, it will work.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 and it does cover up the headphone jack but I just use the it to hold the sides and it works fine. The bottom piece folds up. I have one in all three of my vehicles. It is the best mount I have found so far.
Yes it does fit iPhone 12 , 12 pro
Si. Yes
Sorry, it will not fit. But you can try this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HMG1H78. Our cradles works for all our car holder which means you can switch the cradles and the mounting bases. Thanks.
IT WILL FIT YOUR FINE
ONLY ISSUE IS THE SIZE OF THE CD SLOT
It might be too heavy and it probably will not fit?
i have a 2009 honda accord and this fit great. you have to make sure your phone is not heavy, like in an otter box, because it will eventually start getting loose from the cd slot. hope this helps
Yes there is an opening. I usually run the charging cord through the opening before mounting my phone. I just find it easier instead of trying to feel for the phone’s charging port.
It should fit, its a fully adjustable universal fit. It fits lexus. Mercedes and my land rover. Though it’s a little tight in land rover but still very solid product. Had to modify for Mercedes since it was hitting the media knob.
I’m not sure. It does not hold my 6s with a battery pack…not sure if it’s the thickness or the weight.
I’m sure it would work. It works on my Subaru & my Honda CRV. My Honda is 2014, but, the disc player (I’m sure) is the same. You can take it from car to car with no problem. There are so many of these gadgets on the market, however; this is THE one for me. Love it!!

The media could not be loaded. I have Anker CD slot phone holder in my Mazda 3 but it keeps moving and comes off the CD slot when the ride gets bumpy. It got so annoying that I decided to buy a different CD slot phone holder and I’m glad I found this one.
WHAT I LIKE:
✔️ It stays secure in my CD slot and does not move or wobble during bumpy ride!
✔️ The third side can be fold or opened, which means it can hold your phone horizontally or vertically!
✔️ The release button is on the side (rather than on the back) so it’s easier to reach it for quick release
✔️ The opening and closing of the side grips is very smooth and easy (watch my video)
✔️ Very sturdy material yet the side grips and CD slot lip have soft rubber for protecting the phone and CD slot
WHAT I DON’T LIKE:
✔️ absolutely nothing
Just watch my demo video on how sturdy this is and how easy it is to mount and unmount your phone on the go.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
A solid 5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend this to anyone who still has CD player in their cars and has a need to use their phone for GPS or hands-free operation while driving.

Just wanted to update: I have been using the same bracket for several months now and it still works perfectI. I have been looking for a bracket to hold my iPhone 7 for months in my Ford Explorer. Nothing seems to work. All those stick on brackets or suction cup type holders never work for long or at all. The sticky stuff dries out or the suction doesn’t work after a while. I even spent over $28 for one and had to return it in a matter of days. However, I then tried this bracket. To my amazement and satisfaction it actually works as claimed. Not only was iIt less than half the cost of the last when I tried but it’s actually been working well for a couple weeks and I have no issues with it at all. Of course it does function by being inserted partially into your CD player slot if you have one but it’s well worth the trade off because you can always use the radio or your USB stick etc. or your iPhone. I Highly recommend this item. But it is still made of plastic so read the directions, and follow them, take your time and you should have no problems with it and it should work fine.
Typically I’m very difficult to satisfy. I’m an engineer so everything can stand for improvement and this is no different. The surprise is that it is just one thing. One minor thing. One minor thing that it doesn’t even reduce the number of stars. However, let’s start with what they did right: this thing is hefty. For around $10 I expected thin flimsy plastic. Flimsy it is not.
The CD insertion clamp and base feel heavy enough to be metal. and the ball joint and screw are made of sturdy polymer. The clamp holds very well and has silicon pad to ensure there is no damage to the stereo. The phone holder is well designed for both vertical and horizontal use and gives a positive clicks while clamping to reassure that it is racketing into place. The release button is easy to reach and easy to use and, for what it is, it looks good.
So what’s wrong with it? It is a small thing but I would preferred a nylon nut be used for the wingnut screw. This would minimize the chances of the screw unthreading. I haven’t had it long enough to know if this will be a problem but cars vibrate, roads aren’t smooth, so I’m guessing periodically the CD insertion clamp will need to be re-tightened. A nylon screw would prevent that. Overall pretty darn minor -especially for a product that is priced so well.
Ultimately, if you’ve got a CD player in your car, this is the phone holder to get.
When this came in a tiny box I was a little worried. But it fits my Explorer CD slot without the extra grips. My Note 9 fits fine with the Full-Body case I have. Will just have to see if it lasts.
The mount fits securely in the CD slot. Holds the phone secure. The mount doesn’t bounce or move when the car hits a bump. Provides a good height for viewing.
I am very happy with the quality of the product. I bought two one for myself and one for the husband. He loves his in his truck. I have a few things that I do have an issue with. # 1 I would caution about this item is if you have a case and a pop socket on your phone your phone will not fit in the holder securely. #2 Depending on your radio/ dash set up you may not be able to see what radio station is playing and if your clock is on the radio display you can’t see that either.
I had to replace our old phone holder because the plastic nut that hold things tight cracked. I like this new one for several specific reasons:
1. The part that fits into the CD slot is narrower than the old one was. This let me slide the holder over to the right side of the slot which lets me see the screen on my radio again. Yay!
2. The side clamps are great- my old holder clamps onto the volume knob of my phone, turning the volume down. This holder does not push onto the volume button, for either a Pixel 4a or an iPhone 11.
3. The only critique I have is that you have to fish the charging cable through the bottom support. Not a big deal, but not perfect either.
4. It seems well made and I think it should last a while.
Finally, a phone holder that sits high enough for me to see the screen easily AND does not pop off in hot weather! As I think others have said, you just have to thread the charging cord through the holder and attach it to the phone before you seat the phone in the holder.
The only downside is that the wingnut blocks a little of my backup camera screen. To address that problem, I could flip around the device and use the little adhesive strips that come with it, but I’m so happy with it now, I’m afraid to mess things up in any way.
I am very happy with this CD phone holder that I have used for one month. I was looking at holders twice the price and saw this one with good reviews. It is great, I have used it in two different cars and my truck. The vibration in the truck made the phone (iPhone SE 2020) droop, but I tightened the swivel joint nut and no more drooping. There are two problems to be aware of, the first is that for one of my cars the CD slot is very narrow so the fit is very tight, so when putting it in I had to make sure it was cool so the foam pads did not get displaced when inserting into the CD slot. The second problem is that the holder is in front of my AC vents and gets cold. This is a problem because the release is very very slow when you want to remove your phone. We will see how this works in the winter, it may work better since I will be heating it. I will be buying another one so I don’t have to remove it when changing cars.
I loved the previous item I purchased but when the sun hit it, it would fall off. I mentioned it in a review and Aaron from Andobil Service Team contacted me. He said they wanted to make it right and asked for the car type and my preference for securing the device. I received a new device within 2 days and really like what they sent. It came in with 2 options for securing it in the car, air vent and cd slot. I choose the cd slot and love it. The bottom foot is adjustable. Would definitely buy from Andobil again. Thanks Aaron!
