With the new home office during the coronavirus, I was looking for a new power strip surge protector that could fit all my computer accessories, monitor, and lights. There were several options that I looked for. This one was the best value for the money, and everything that I needed in a power strip.
Pros:
1) Multiple USB power slots–This is a norm these days, however, I did see that this was powerful enough to charge some of the larger accessories and also like the placement of these ports.
2) Spacing of ports–I know that it is silly to think that this is a pro, but as someone who has tried multiple power strips, I feel like that sometimes I am unable to utilize all the different outlet ports due to the ports being put together too closely.
3) Extra spaced out port–The last port (see picture) can be seen that it is spaced out even further. This is often useful when the outlet is thick, or is a side access usb-outlet. I often feel like if there’s a side-port charger, I often have to sacrifice another port making one outlet useless. This added design is helpful to alleviate this.
Overall, the power strip is sturdy, and able to support all my office needs. I have had various power strips, and for the money, believe that this one was the best bang for the buck. I am happy to recommend this one to any other user.
My wife wanted to add some lights to her sewing machine and she needed a power strip for a few items as well as the sewing machine. The ribbon light I bought is USB powered with a dimmer so I want a power strip that had a few USB ports as well as a half dozen spots for plugs. Right now this just has a few things plugged in along with the USB ribbon light. Eventually, she’ll be able to plug some other things as well as charge her phone without the need for a wall wart. This Surge protector is pretty sturdy, but not too heavy and so far it does the trick just fine. It’s exactly what I needed, nothing to fancy, but definitely reliable.
We are in the process of re-organizing our entertainment room. We ordered this Search protector once we realize that we use to move a few things around with the new layout of the furniture. What are the things I really like about this surge protector is that each of the outlets are spaced out enough that you can actually fit six plugs with heavy duty boxes on this outlet. Many times, the slots are so close together do that even thought the device has so many outlets you can actually only use half. It’s also nice to have the USB inputs as so many electrics now only come with a USB cable and otherwise you have to go find an adapter. The whole piece turns off and on with one switch, and the cord is flexible enough that it’s functional. It also comes with screws if you wanted to mount it, which was a nice add-on.
As strange as it may sound to most, I bought this due more to the decorating needs of my office as it is a white strip with a white cord and my office is comprised of mostly white and gray. My stand/sit desk is white and has a cable management system (read, tray) that is also white and I needed a strip to plug monitors and other electronic devices in to that didn’t stick out like a sore thumb, as do most black or dark colored strips I had come across.
Aside from the interior design side this strip is really a thing of beauty with its LED on/off indicator, the 4 USB power ports and it general design…and it came with a 10′ cord. I needed to run a fair distance from the cable management tray to the wall outlet and this really did the trick. I do however wish they had an option for a 15′ cord as it would have given me greater flexibility with my cord run. Small price to pay for a great purchase!
I bought the first because of the length of the cord and the USB outlets which have made my life SO much easier. Was skeptical at first because it’s a brand name I’m not familiar with, but thought I’d give it a try. Results of that purchase? I bought a second one. Now, I have the second one plugged into the first because there’s only one outlet/receptacle in the room and that’s just not sufficient these days. The two strips give me more outlets, PLUS the USB, which come in very handy now (with so much being “USB”). AND, I feel safer with the “surge protection” on ALL of the outlets. The first protector protects the items plugged into it and I’m thinking, will keep from over-loading the second. (Though the only things in the first are a desk lamp and small radio. In the second, a small “water feature pump” and a floor lamp.) But the USBs are a GREAT convenience! I don’t have a “collection of adapters” all over the house, and outlets being used by the adapters. All round, this is one of my “best purchases of 2021”.
The media could not be loaded. Nothing to bad say but wish the plug-in holes was space out a little more for weird shape adapters. I love the Blue power button it taps very easy on/off and the usb port added to it was very useful … Very light weight ….
This Surge Protector Power Strip is exactly what I needed to connect several things in a “spread out” space in one room. Included in the connection is a notebook, a power recliner and a curio cabinet light. My laptop is powered and protected and i have more than enough outlets to add other items as needed. I also can charge my phone and Kindle while relaxing in my power recliner! And the 6 foot white cord is perfect for reaching everything! Delivery was very fast, on time and the item was well packaged! Thanks so much!
This power strip/surge protector has been awesome for our home office! I’ve used this surge protector for about a week now, and I really like it. Most importantly, it has a 10-foot cord which is great because I can place the surge strip on top of the office desk without creating a tripping hazard with the cord. The USB charging ports are awesome, so that it’s a breeze to charge my phone or tablet!!!! Overall this power strip can be used for so many different uses! It is like a household staple! We love it and recommend it!♥️♥️♥️
Ten power points ten feet from an outlet? Heaven! And safe to boot. The cable and the plug are a strong-looking one-piece molding. With four USB powerpoints and six three-pin (grounded) sockets, many modern devices can be powered. The outlet block is somewhat lighter in weight than might be expected so it tends not to stay put on its own but with enough devices plugged into it, it won’t go far. I hope it proves to be sturdy enough in the long run. It is nice to eliminate up to four charger blocks that almost pays for this power strip by itself.
This is amazing. The cord is the perfect length, in fact, longer than I needed but that is good, just in case. (Too many are too short). The USB ports are very useful. Plugs go into the outlets easily. It’s been working great for months already.
We needed something for the table with the wireless landline phone on it and lamp and whatever else we might need to plug in because the only outlet is behind a big chair, and this is truly one of the best power strips I have ever bought.
