Facts About Surge Protector with USB, TESSAN Power Strip Flat Plug with 6 Widely Spaced AC Outlets 3 USB Charging Ports, 1080 Joules, Wall Mount Extension Cord 5 Ft, Dorm Home and Office Accessories
You should probably consult an electrician but my ex was an electrician and he said it was very dangerous to "daisy-chain" surge protectors together which is what it’s called when you plug one power strip into another.
There are two very tiny holes – when the power strip is turned on, one will light green and the other will light red. One light is to show that protection is on and the other light is to show that it’s ground.
I can’t find a UL or ETL label on mine.
6" x 4"x1"
Mine has a sticker saying it’s unsafe to exceed 1625 watts.
This item has passed the UL testing.
I haven’t. But I have one here at the house. It is small enough to fit in your bag, so I would venture to say, Go For It!!! It measures at 5 1/2" x 4" x 1". Basically the size of an adult hand
I’m not sure what a clamping voltage is. I’d just needed this item for my TV antenna and my Roku stick. The outlets are widely separated and works perfect for me.
I don’t see the UL certification anywhere on it.
The cord is 5’ long
I don’t believe so. I think it’s just right angled. That seems to be common among surge protectors lately, as I’ve seen it on others. I was concerned about it working but the cable was long enough for me that the angle wasn’t a problem.

There are two nice things about this power strip. One is that it has a right angle wall plug where the cord hugs the wall and doesn’t stick out getting in the way. The second is that it isn’t a “strip”, more like a rectange where the plugs are widely spaced. These days, many of the things that are plugged in are not cords, but small power bricks, for chargers, routers, streaming boxes, etc. The shape gives one room to position the multiple bricks to use all the outlets while providing some support for the part of the brick that sticks out.
Don’t know what it is with the turd designers from other companies. It seems as if those “designers” have never used a power strip before.
I paid a lot extra for this product just for the shape. Also I would prefer a model without USB charger ports and pay less money.
I attached several USB reading lamps to a loft that I just built. This unit allowed me to plug them all directly into the power strip without having to use bulky AC adapters that take up outlet space. I mounted this strip under the loft’s desk and was able to use it to organize and neaten up all of the device cables.
This was perfect for behind my couch. The cord length is perfect. We mounted it on the wall but you don’t have to do that. I like that the USB ports are on the side so when I mounted it the USB ports are on top. So they don’t get crushed from the couch. And the power button is on the bottom when mounted! It’s perfect because my toddler loves to turn things off and now she can’t!
Love the flat plug end as it lets it lay on the wall and takes up less space. With the USB connections, it has now become our new charging station in the laundry room. Plenty of outlets to plug other items into. Like that it’s not one long strip with 6 plug ins on. It’s more of a square. Overall, very pleased with my purchase.
This is a well-designed power strip, with lots of room to accommodate bulky plugs. (I always find it frustrating when a bulky plug takes up the space of two outlets on a conventional power strip. That doesn’t happen here.)
The USB outlet on the side are an added benefit; there are no USB-C outlets, although I imagine future iterations of the product will add USB-C outlets as well.
I also like the fact that the plug lies flush against the wall. The 10-foot cord length will suffice for most situations. The strip is easy to mount using a drywall anchor. The appearance of the power strip is relatively minimalist compared to many competing products.
Aside from looking and feeling like a well built power strip, what makes it better than average is how the outlets are positioned and spaced apart which allows more bulky items to be plugged in. The fact that it has 3 USB charging ports is just icing on the cake. The USB ports don’t support fast charging on my Pixel 2 XL but they do provide enough current for the battery level to continue increasing even when the phone is under heavy load.
Like that it’s not bulky and that there is space between the outlets. All my plugs fit nicely and the USB charging ports are a bonus. Quite stylish too. No complaints.
Got this for the bedside, the only outlet is behind the bed. Mounted to the side of the dresser, it’s perfect because its the only spot to plug in almost everything in the room. It has held up great and has no problem powering every outlet on it. Love having the outlets at easy height and plenty of them! This includes a drill hole guide and screws for mounting, so it was super easy. I love that it is mounted because it doesn’t take up space on any surfaces and it doesn’t fall to the floor like the power strips I have that don’t mount. Love the USB outlets, almost everything seems to be USB anymore! I don’t have to use up the available outlets plugging in an adapter to power cell phones, etc. Great product!
I bought this for my father who uses a wheelchair and it’s very hard for him to reach electrical sockets or extension cords on the floor. This one is perfect for his needs. It’s small enough to sit atop his desk where he can easily plug in his phone, hearing aides, etc. It looks much nicer than the traditional huge power strip and still offers surge protection. Very pleased with this purchase.
This item works great. You can use differ size plugs in there. Nice buy
