I bought this for my 42 inch tv and it was way too small!! Had to return.

It comes with a assortment of different size screws not sure if it has them for a Vizio specifically cause I used mine to hang a Lg tv

I don’t remember seeing a safety certification or warrranty. I had someone in construction to mount it for me so I know it was mounted correctly.

Only if it is the intent on shifting it over for centering. It will not move on it’s own nor will it shift if nudged.

I have used expensive high-end mounts and I have used low cost bargain mounts. While these are not the highest quality mount I have used they do the job without worrying about the mount failing and you TV falling off the wall. The mounting plate you bolt to the wall is on the flimsy side but not junk. After mounting into the wood studs my 140lb son always gives it our pull up test by grabbing the top of the mount and hanging with his full weight with no flex or bending of the mounting plate. We mounted a 43 inch TCL smart tv that weights around 25lbs so I am confident that the TV could have been mounted in just the drywall using the supplied plastic wall anchors. The hardware pack that came with it should be sufficient to mount most any modern flat panel TV. I would recommend this mount to anyone looking for a inexpensive mounting solution for a TV.

Install of the wall mount took less than 20 minutes into 16″ 2×4 wall studs. Everything was included hardware wise including a magnetic bubble level. The instructions were clearly written, easy to understand yet detailed enough to guide most everyone through various install options.

Only tools I needed were a Phillips head screwdriver, socket wrench, drill bit and rotary tool, stud finder and pencil.

I did not expect much for such a economically priced TV wall mount but I am pleasantly surprised and pleased with the quality of the wall mount. I’ll probably pick up a second one for my bedroom TV.

Purchased this to hang up a 32″ Samsung in my child’s room. Was not looking to spend alot and this was perfect for the price. Item itself came and was still sturdy and felt heavy. Sometimes with these cheaper brackets, they will feel/look cheaply made, but that was not the case here. Came with more than enough hardware for whatever scenario you may encounter. In my situation, I was able to screw into a wall stud on one side, but ended up using the anchors for the other side. The tilt option is very easy to use.

Pros: Super easy to install. Sturdy material. No visible parts showing ( on my 49″ tv). Friendly on the pocketbook.
Cons: Sits pretty tight to the wall, which gives a nice look but makes it a pain to insert the cables. Fix for that is to install cables before hanging, or undo bottom latch an ease out the tv slightly.
All in all nice product for the price.

This is a very well made mount for the size and weight of televisions listed in the item description. The price is very good as well. All hardware is provided for the TV to bracket mounting as well as the base plate to wall attachment given the limitations listed in the instructions.

TV mounts can be easy or extremely frustrating to install. It is mostly not about the manufacturer but the wall conditions.

Because this mount is narrow, it is tricky to catch a pair of wood wall studs (on a stud and sheetrock wall) while also getting your TV in your preferred location. The width of the baseplate only allows mounting it exactly centered on two wood studs (16″ on center, typically). Ideally you would line up the mount in such a way that all four fasteners can go into a wood stud. This is the only stud mounting method mentioned in the instructions and no drywall anchors are provided. Metal studs are not mentioned.

There are instructions and anchors provided for masonry walls as well. The caveat here is that you are told specifically not to drill into the mortar joints as this creates an unsecure mount point for the provided anchors. The issue arises when your masonry wall is covered with sheetrock or plaster and you cannot determine where the mortar joints are.

Not mentioned is what to do when you have a location where you cannot use both wood studs or determine the location of the mortar joints in a masonry wall.

Other manufacturers will recommend using a backer board, provide a much wider base plate or give written recommendations for using a combination of studs and sheetrock anchors. With this model, a backer board (typically 3/4″ plywood spanning at least two studs but not necessarily centered) would likely be a strong option if the backer board is screwed directly into the wood studs. The wall plate would then be mounted to the backer board at the desired location using appropriate lag screws or anchors. The backer board should be sized to be obscured by the TV when mounted and can be sanded and painted to match your wall. If this sounds super complicated and probably aesthetically unpleasant, you are right.

I have used a combination of the provided lag screws into wood studs and zip toggle style wall anchors with success. I also had to use two lags screws and two masonry anchors to mount one of my TVs above my fireplace.

This is not a recommendation, just an idea. When in doubt, buy a larger mount (wider base plate) for more money and better peace of mind.

I was amazed to see all of the hardware supplied with this TV mount kit. I used it to mount a 32inch Samsung and it worked just fine. I used one set of screws for a Stud mount and their anchor kit for the other set. My 32inch LED (about 2 years old) is very well mounted. A good value for the price (I made the mistake of paying a lot more for a similar mount). Given the easy install, straight-forward instructions and the variety of hardware, this mount is a good value for the money.

We had recently bought our kids 50 inch televisions and needed something (mount) for them. We installed these ourselves and they are really sturdy!!

This is an affordable, no frills wall mount. It is exactly what I needed. Other wall mounts can swivel in multiple directions, but you would have to pay a little extra for them. This wall mount is difficult to adjust the tilt up on down once it is in place. So basically you would set it once and it would remain like that indefinitely. I like the low profile of it as the television is extremely close to the wall, just far enough for the plugs. For those who need a bit more room, there are extenders that you can use to bring it further from the wall. This was such an easy, straight forward wall mount to install, feels sturdy, and priced just right.

This is a good wall mount. It feels very sturdy and strong, and installation is a snap. The only thing I can find wrong with it is that you can’t pre-tilt the mount. Most mounts of this type that I’ve used before allow you to set the angle of the rails that attach to the TV before you hang it on the wall bracket. If you do so with this one, you cannot engage the bottom latching bits of the rails. To get around that, you have to set the rails flat and leave the tilt screws a bit loose, hang and latch it, then pull the TV to the desired tilt angle. Doing that seems to work fine, though. I’m happy with it.

This is about as minimal an engineering solution for a wall mount as you can get. All the parts work together to provide sufficient sturdiness for the rated weight. I mounted a 42″ LG and it’s plenty sturdy. I did make sure the mount was anchored to two wall studs. I would not advise any other was to mount it. Plenty of adjustability to the wall and to the TV to fit pretty much any situation. The included level is a nice touch.
