Yes works perfect. I have an iPhone XR. This phone holder is great! I bought two, one for me and one for a gift. No complaints here.

I have had this mount for a week now and I can tell you that its one of the best mounts I have ever owned. I cleaned my dasboard before use and it instantly suctioned tightly and hasnt lost any suction. Where I live in Michigan we have some of the crappiest roads around and the mount holds up to the test holding the phone in place. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus with an otter box case and it opens wide enough to insert the phone and you dont have to wrench on it to hold the phone tight. I have only used it being suctioned to the dash which by the way is not a smooth texture and have not had any reason to try the vent clip or use it on the windsheild so I cant say if any of those mounting methods are better than the other. I would absolutely recomend picking one of these up and I myself am buying more for our other vehicle.

So I just got this yeaterday and was a bit skeptical to use it on the dash with the auction cup as here in Florida it gets really hot and I don’t want the sticky part of the suction cup becoming a permanent fixture on the dashboard. So I opted out with using the vent holder and I am super super happy. It’s very sturdy, holds the phone great and driving 37 miles each way to work I did not have any issues with it. Highly recommend this.

Item appears to be constructed well but the suction bottom is poor. Toppled over from my dashboard after only several hours.
Following difficulty with this item, the manufacturer kindly offered me a replacement with another model which attaches to the vent and is working out well. They went out of their way to assist me.

I first used it on the corner of my windshield. It did not stick the first time but I moved my truck out of the sun for a bit and the suction worked and was very strong. I had no more issues with not sticking to the windshield. I did not use the holder on the dash but I would think if it had such good suction on the windshield, sticking to the dash should be no issue. I now have mine attached to the vent, (see picture). Again no issues, holds my phone fine. I would recommend this.

This is a high quality phone holder that has a smart design and is easy to use! I can keep my phone within my reach but not be distracted while I’m driving. It is easily installed and fits any phone size or case! You can put it on your dash or your vent and can easily be removed if needed. I like to put it in my air vent and it is super stable and doesn’t move around when my car is in motion. The close and release technology is great! High quality product with great warranty. Search no more for a sturdy and manageable phone holder for your car. I bought this for my iPhone XR, which has a bulky af Otter BOX case. To my surprise it fit perfectly and can even fit larger phones! It’s very adjustable with rotating phone mount and extendable arm for access. And to open the phone grips to remove your phone or secure it only takes ONE touch! The suction cup is so sturdy I had a difficult time removing it and repositioning it on my dash, to do so you must firmly lift up on the small suction tab that sticks out.

I was worried about the dash mount because my car has a textured dash and I’ve had problems with others. Worked perfectly (I left the adhesive sticker on) and is very sturdy and easy to attach.

Great product. Ideal for ride-share drivers or people that travel and use their phones for GPS all the time.This one looks better built and has endless ways to turn and the ball at the end where the phone is so you all ways get the best view, no limits.

UPDATE: Still 5 stars! Well, I’m happy to say this mount has stood the test. Over 8 months through hot and cold weather and 30 min each way daily commuting, it has held up. I did have to mount the hard plastic disc to the dash after it broke suction a few times and fell, but after that it has been solid. I have never had a phone holder last this long without breaking or me tossing it in the bin out of frustration. I’ve since upgraded to a 12 Pro + and the mount holds it just fine. Highly recommended.

I have used about every single kind of mount out there. Each one has strengths and weaknesses but every single one that I have tried has eventually broken, lost suction or were just too flimsy or narrow or.. you get the point. This one looked a bit stronger so I decided to give it a try and so far I’m glad I did.

The mount sticks very securely to my slightly curved dash, which was a pleasant surprise. The arm rotates and extends yet if holds firmly in place after you cinch it down. MUCH better than those terrible flex mounts. The phone holder is large enough to grab and hold my iPhone 8 Plus with a case AND a pop-socket. Most mounts fall short here, not able to securely grab a phone in a case, let alone a pop-socket sticking out the back. The phone doesn’t shake or bounce around while driving which is VERY nice. It holds firm in place and secure. It has not once fallen out of the holder despite the pothole ridden metro area. It releases the phone easily, yet hold it firmly in place.

The things I don’t like about this mount are that it doesn’t extend very far. In a full size SUV I find myself reaching forward more than I’d like. Also the holder itself could be extended a bit to accommodate larger phones better. The 8+ is not centered in the mount and when I turn it to landscape for navigation, it seems to be off-balance. Not sure how well that is going to hold up long term.

Overall a solid purchase so far. I plan to revisit this review in a few months to report back and detail how it has help up.

The newest version is SOLID!! As you can read below the first version did not hold up very well and broke after 1 or 2 uses. After posting a review Torras Customer service was very helpful and stated they identified some build/mold issue that they corrected and they shipped me a new one to test out. I was happy about that but held out on providing an update until I tested it in the SxS where I planned to use it. Well it got a full week of testing in some rough territory and rough conditions and it performed flawlessly. The suction cup held firm and the grips held firm as did the release button which was what broke on the first two I tested. Well done I would recommend this holder for any environment considering the abuse I put it through and how tight I need it to hold the phone for the trails I’m bouncing around in.

Upgrading to a 3 Star as the customer service has been way beyond expectations. I can’t give a 5 yet as I haven’t had the opportunity to test the newest unit out, however just the fact that they stated they identified a production issue and shipped the new holder I am pretty optimistic it will be just fine, but I want to be honest in my review and I can’t rate the device until I get it out in the real world…2 Weeks!!

Bought this for my Side by Side in October, retiring it in December after exactly 2 outings. The suction part of it was fantastic, the durability of the holder not so much. Couldn’t figure out why my phone kept ending up on the floor, then realized the squeeze part of the holder is no longer locking. It never got dirty, wet and cold yes but that shouldn’t cause this thing to break so soon! *** As you can see below Torras was very prompt in replying to my review and is in the process of replacing my device . I am thus far very pleased with their customer service and will update on the durability once I have had a chance to abuse it, I mean use it some more.
