Mount it at either outer edge of your TV. I had mine at the bottom with Velcro. I never had any issues with the remote. I’m buying this to better affix to the back of my TV.

I think you can mount it onto. I would suggest when you mount it. The bottom of the Apple TV is facing up. So that way it can disbursed the hot air from the Apple TV

The Apple TV does not secure into the mount, but rather it is cradled & held by gravity. This would be your biggest concern for theft reasons.

No, the remote holder is a separate item, not included with the mount I bought. There is no cable management. They stick out the bottom of the holder, but seem very secure and I’m not worried that they will fall out.

It has 2 sets of hooks to hook onto the tv. The hooks should fit most brands I would think. I just bought a Samsung and it fit just fine. I also have an Element and it also fits.

Just purchased a new display and Apple 4k TV.

Basically, my plan was to put the Apple TV in the media cabinet and just go with that.

However, I had a little extra money to spend and this mount came up on an Amazon search and for its low price, I decided to add it to my cart.

The mount arrives with screws and hooks, giving you several options to hang this caddy. There is even removable adhesive on the back where you can simply stick it to the back of your display. I opted to use the small plastic hooks. I found the vents on the rear of my display and simply let the mount hang from the hooks. Worked out surprisingly well.

The mount has a removable adapter in it that allows you to insert any size Apple TV.

Here is what I discovered through the purchase of this mount…

There really is a need for this mount. What it does is make your Apple TV disappear. Instead of it taking up space in your media cabinet or out in the open, it disappears behind your television. Nobody but you know that it is there.

The second amazing thing I found is that the remote works quite well even with the ATV hidden behind the display.

So, for something I bought on a whim, I find myself patting myself on the back as a great purchase. For me to have one less device out in the open is a godsend.

I would highly recommend this mount!

Works great! I used the stick on method and it seems to hold the Apple TV securely to the back of my flatscreen. Great fit!

UPDATE: Mount has already fallen off TV with stick on method. Will try the hook method.

UPDATE: Customer service if first rate, added an additional star because of this. I am now using the hooks on the TV and they work great!

I used this to mount a 4th generation Apple TV on the back of a 55″ Vizio TV and it works great. I used the included adhesive tape to attach the mount to the back of my television. The instructions recommend waiting 24 hours before putting the Apple TV in the mount so the adhesive has time to cure. That’s the only caveat. I haven’t had any problems with the Apple TV remote, even though the body of the TV is between the TV and the remote. If you’re trying to de-clutter the area around your television or you have a wall mounted television this is a great option.

Love this, it works perfectly to keep your Apple TV mounted out of site on the wall or on the back of the TV. I was a bit dubious as to how well the Apple TV would be able to catch the signal from the remote, but have had zero issues. I used the adhesive to mount it to my TV. From prior experience with 3m adhesives I know/prefer to wait an hour after applying the adhesive before adding the heavy items. Experience learned the hard way from a prior experience when I didn’t get the adhesive time to "firm up". It feels a bit pricey for a basic piece of plastic, but that is probably just jealousy on my part that I didn’t come up with the idea to develop and market this brilliant and handy little tool. Two thumbs up. I also recommend the remote holder from this same company. Without it I’m sure our Apple TV remote would be long lost…. !

I have a 55" LG mounted in the master bedroom and I was insistent on a very elegant solution. I wanted no wires, boxes, or anything else showing. So I had the electrical outlet relocated higher up on the wall, and also spent quite a bit of money running Cat5e lines from my home office (where the Fios ONT is) to each location. So once I got the electrical and ethernet ports high up on the wall, all I needed was a way to tuck the Apple TV behind the TV. Since the new generation of Apple TV does not require line of sight, this was going to work! Sure enough, it stuck to the wall using the included 3M adhesive and it has been stuck there for the past few months and has not budged.

I highly recommend this for those looking for an elegant solution, where you can "Set it and forget it"!

Took me 1 minute to install. I used the included vertical hooks and the vents on the back of my TV. Having the  TV on the back of my TV means I can use a shorter HDMI cable for maximum video quality. Running the cable through the wall meant longer cables and no 4K video. With my  TV up high, rather than in a cabinet closer to the floor, seems to result in much better WiFi signal coming in. I have to get used to the best direction to aim the remote, but it’s only a minor issue for me. I do miss being able to see the status light blink when buttons on the remote are pressed, but it’s worth all the benefits that mounting the unit on the back of my TV bring. This mount is a great solution at a great price. Using the hooks means I can easily remove the mount if I get another TV with no mess and the ability to reuse it. 3 different hooks, screws, and adhesive are all provided. I’m not sure why some said that the hooks broke, since the  TV is very light weight. I would recommend this mount as long as you can connect the hooks to the vents on your TV.

This is a handy Apple TV mount when you want electronics out of the way.

This mount will fit old models and the new Apple TV 4K, by way of an additional piece of plastic that slides in and out to adapt to your Apple TV’s size.

What the photos don’t show you is that there are multiple ways of attaching this:
1) A big sticker for sticking to a wall or your TV
2) Three screws are provided to screw the mount onto a wall
3) Plastic hook clips to latch onto your TV’s back vents. This includes three versions to adapt to different vent sizes:
– A double hook
– A flat hook
– A single hook

Out of all these mounting options, you will find one that suits your preference. For me, I hooked it to the back of my TV for now.

It’s made of a glossy black plastic material. The fit is good with some space all around to move your Apple TV in and out easily. I love the circular design in the back to help with air flow.

This is a well-designed mount and the only one I considered for mounting my Apple TV 4K. Recommended.

We’re living with my in laws temporarily and didn’t bring our furniture. Normally we keep the apple TV inside the TV stand and a child lock on the doors, but that’s not an option here.

This product has been perfect for our needs. Just a couple of screws and now I don’t have to worry about her constantly plugging and unplugging the thing (I think she likes watching the little light go on and off). Anyway, buy this. You won’t regret it.

I recently moved our TV from an entertainment center, to a wall mount. As part of this, wanted to hide and reduce all of the associated clutter by moving the Apple TV and other components to be mounted to the TV.

This mount was the perfect fit for our Apple TV (per the information with the Apple TV generation) and the mounting instructions were perfect. The seller also emailed some key highlights from the instructions to ensure the best use. The Apple TV has been happily mounted for a few months without any problems.

I used an older version of this mount (for the smaller AppleTV) and thought I’d try this version for the newer AppleTV size.

First version I found the brackets a bit annoying to work with because they didn’t feel as secure. So this time I chose to use the adhesive option. As skeptical as I was about the adhesive, I am glad I went that route. It has held up wonderfully and I forget the AppleTV is mounted to the back of my TVs. I do have the TVs tilted forward, so I can’t speak for a 100% vertical install.
