Color it says it is
I never smelled anything that strong, maybe the packaging process some went through. However, I washed it just like I wash bottles in the sink with dish soap. And no complaints here. It’s the best teething toy I bought for my baby yet. The bar inside allows him to grip it and keep it in his hand/mouth for a long time.
My grandson who is 4 months old loves it. It’s easy for him to grasp and maneuver. So much so that I ordered another one so he can have one at his house and one at my house. 😊
Several months! It’s a great teething toy!
Yes! As much as the baby wants!
It’s awesome for babies! My Grand baby loved it and we spent a lot less time picking up and washing tethers off the floor.
It was my child’s favorite for a while.
From what I can tell, the nubs are rubbery, not sharp or hard. Good for chewing on, not for doing harm/damage by poking.
My 5 month old has been using this for a couple of months and has not harmed himself. The material is very soft. We sanitized it with boiling water before first use and a couple of other times since we started using it.
No it is made of silicon
My granddaughter is just 4 months old and she’s having a blast with it. She holds it and she chews on it and it makes her happy

The media could not be loaded. Omg this toy saved my life. I’m so glad I came across this. My daughter is 4mos and she is breastfed. She refuses a pacifier and uses me as one. She would nipple on my breast without latching causing my skin to go raw. It was soothing to her. But now this toy doesn’t leave her side. The handle is sooo convenient, easy to keep up with. I’m so glad it’s soft because sometimes she will hit herself in the face it doesn’t faze her though. I love how it’s shaped like an actual nipple. I think that’s why she loves it so much. It does collect dust so make sure you wash it off before giving to your child. But overall 5 stars I’ve told so many people about this already!
Son sucks his fingers and I wanted something to take the place of them so they don’t get stinky from burp and whatnot. He never accepted a pacifier, so I was hopeful based on other reviews. I was pleasantly surprised when my son took to it right away! He even reached for it when I have it not on his hand. I love that he can get his hand out of it easily so that it’s not restricting any sensory factors if he wants to grab something else.
Note on color: if you want a certain color, make sure you check the TITLE of the product at the top of the page and not the color selection drop down. The picture and the product title should match. I ordered Light Blue, but the drop down said Light Pink, the picture was Blue and the top page title said Light Blue. Hope that helps!
My baby is almost 4 months and she loves this toy. Teething toys are so unreliable as far as likability is concerned. I’ve had 4 kids and I wish I had known about this product sooner. The company also sent an email making sure I enjoyed this product and to let us know if the baby wasn’t satisfied they would do their best to find something else that worked better for my babe’s personal needs. I thought it was super cool that the company would invest that much time and concern, it shows they really value their customers and believe in their products. Would def recommend.
Such an awesome company! I unfortunately also got the wrong color but when I told them they responded immediately and sent the right color. No need to even send the other one back. They told me to just use it for a backup 🙂 !! I see it’s fixed now so that should no longer be an issue for anyone. My son isn’t 3 months old yet but he sucks on his fingers so I got him this to help crave his little urges but bc he hasn’t mastered hand/eye coordination therefore he struggles and gets frustrated but he enjoys it if I hold it for him. I’m certain it’ll be even more satisfying in a month or so. With that being said it was a great buy for me!
I (or my baby) love this teether toy! I’ve bought several different kinds and she either can’t hold it just right to get a good bite, or she gets frustrated, or just doesn’t like them. This is not only so cute, but it’s like a little boxing glove for a baby and the bar inside is a perfect gripper for that steel grip babies can have. She doesn’t really grab many things like she does this. But try and pry this one out of her hand, and there’s going to be a fight! The chew parts feel and look like a nipple. Good for breastfed babies, especially.
My baby is 3 months and he got his first tooth, I couldn’t find anything that he could hold on to and chew on to soothe his gums. I took a chance on this considering my son hasn’t liked any toy I’ve offered and I have no regrets! This is so great, he holds on to it real tight and chews it to his hearts content. I’m so glad I got it. Although I will say that when he does let go of the handle inside the whole thing just wraps around his wrist like a bracelet, I’m not to sure how I feel about that but it’s super soft and bendy so I have peace of mind.
My 6 month old loves this toy! She’s been teething since she’s been 2 months old, it seemed, and would never take a pacifier for me. This satisfies both and is so perfect for her. I get compliments from people saying that it’s such a cool, unique toy, where did you get it, etc… My baby can hold onto it and it is easy for her to bite on it and then suck on the little nipple when she wants to and I rarely have to help reposition it for her. I agree, it is such a cool, awesome invention! Wish I would have found this earlier!
My son is 3 months old and may or may not be teething but he doesn’t have the motor skills to get most teethers in his mouth on his own. He can however shove his whole fist in his mouth and this is like an extension of his fist. Also, since he does usually have his hands clenched he grabs right onto the bar inside and doesn’t let go. So far this is his and my favorite toy, it’s entertaining, soothing and allows him to be self sufficient!!!
I really like the concept. Unfortunately, my granddaughter (4 months) did not take to it. But, my concern is the face on the item. I would like to see one without the eyes and nose {face} I’m concerned that she may some how pull those part off and swallow. However, I love the fact that there are nipple shapes on both side of the item and a handle on the inside. When I put it on my grand daughter s hand, she did grab a hold of it. Again, I think the concept is great!
Everyone laughed at me for buying this and said my son would do good with regular teethers. Well they were all shocked when he took to this penguin only! It’s so easy to clean and he grips the bar in the middle there for support on holding it. He will stuff his hand in his mouth and cry until I give him this penguin. He immediately calms done as he uses the ears on it to soothe his gums. Best product ever invented!
Conclusion
In conclusion, what babies need is love and parents’ attention, so give them pieces of cloth to play with, toys that mimic chewing or sucking needs, and toys that encourage them to exercise their hands.
