Facts About TOZO NC2 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earbuds, in-Ear Detection Headphones, IPX6 Waterproof Bluetooth 5.2 Stereo Earphones, Immersive Sound Premium Deep Bass Headset, Black
This is a bit difficult to answer in consideration of the different sizes of individuals ears. Though these are very comfortable in my ear and don’t go too far into my ear canal. Again my ear and someone else’s ear may differ. Thats all I can offer.
Can I connect another device to it while one device is already connected?
In-ear detection works good for me, works if I pull either one out, or if I’m only using one, still works, and usually resumes when you put it back in your ear. It does get confused if I pull the left one out(it pauses) and put it in the case and leave the right one in.
The ear buds have internal batteries that last 6 to 8 hours. The charging case also has a battery that will charge the earbuds when they are inside. I don’t think so. Acc & sbc is getting better that’s why a lot of new headphone does not need it now a days. I might say aptx is passé especially when a lot of people are using apple products. Even SBC is getting better.
Yes. If you have a Samsung phone though, Bixby might try to launch instead of Google Assistant. I’ve not experienced this with mine on numerous calls. Not very helpful, but maybe an issue with yours?
Both features are off by default when you take them out of the case every time, and you can still listen to music with them off. Once you press the touch controls on the left earbud, Transparency mode will turn on, and you can only switch between the two modes after, until you remove them from the case again.
That’s the only problem I’ve had. You get used to it after awhile. You just need to find the way that works for you
Yes it has a call noise cancellation.
The hissing is transparent mode. I returned these earbuds because the ANC mode isn’t good at all. It will not block out noise.
I think they are only guaranteed for 30 days right? I would buy the 2 year extended warranty, its only 3 dollars. And if your friend ever has an issue with them you can just send them out to be fixed or replaced on his behalf.
Info About TOZO NC2 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earbuds, in-Ear Detection Headphones, IPX6 Waterproof Bluetooth 5.2 Stereo Earphones, Immersive Sound Premium Deep Bass Headset, Black (Reviews From Amazon)
The Tozo NC2s are the bass-lovers alternative to the AirPods Pro.
I have sampled the full line of true wireless earbuds from Sony, Sennheiser, Jaybird, Skullcandy, JLab, OneMore, Soundcores, Apple, and Soundpeats, to name a few! Yes, I know, I’m kind of an earbuds junkie!
The Tozo NC2s are pretty much replicas of the AirPods Pro, with a similar design and feel. The ANC and transparency modes are pretty decent, but not class leading. There is no ‘off mode’ for these listening modes; it’s either ANC or transparency.
Sound quality is where these make a unique statement. Bass is quite prominent and dominant, to the point that music sounds a little muffled. Mids and treble are recessed. Would have been good to give the treble a slight boost to compensate. A slight boost to the mids would also give these some much needed balance. Volume is also impressive. These can get extremely loud.
Love the form factor and the fit. If you like monstrous bass and the AirPods Pro style, these are definitely for you!
I wanted a set of noise cancelling earbuds for outdoors and for the plane ride that I was planning to take soon. Noise on an airplane can drown out the sound from what I’m listening to.
I shopped around for various models but I didn’t want to spend to much. Over the ear headphones are too bulky so I chose these ear buds.
The set came with several ear pieces to customize the fit. I found small to be the right size. It was a little challenging to put the new silicone inserts in but I got it done.
The case and ear buds were already fully charged. The case uses a USB C charging cable which came with the set. The case has indicator lights which is helpful for the user to know when to charge.
The EarPods turn on when the case is opened. You can also turn them on with the touch pad on the EarPods. The left piece lets you rewind or go back and the right piece let’s you advance the song. One touch pauses. Three touches activates your phone’s digital assistant.
The fit was perfect and they’re lightweight. It has a stem which makes adjusting the location in the ear easier. The shape tends to stay more stable than earbuds without a stem. The stem also contains the microphone for speaking.
What sets this set apart from other music/communication earbuds is that it also enhances sound around me. I can hear ambient noise easier. It almost acts like a hearing aid as I can hear noises around me easier despite it drowning out loud noise.
Sound quality was surprisingly great. High, mid and low frequency were all very clear. I like the bass function which is also very good. For the price I was very pleased.
Overall I was pleasantly surprised by the features of sound canceling with loud noises, enhanced ambient hearing when the EarPods are not playing and sound quality. This is competitive against similar products two to three times the price point.
Definitely worth the price!
The TOZO NC2 earbuds have over twice the BlueTooth range of my other earbuds. I can place my phone in the middle of the house and go anywhere, including the garage, and the sound is smooth and solid. Speaking of solid, the bass is very tight. Its not enhanced but still strong and crisp — much more realistic, like you would expect in high end headphones.
As for the noise cancelling ability, my wife was on a video conference call when I was testing this. With noise cancelling off I could clearly hear both sides of their conversation. With noise cancelling on I could not hear the people on the computer at all and my wife was fairly muted. It seems that the higher the tone, the better the noise cancellation.
I don’t know exactly how to describe how they fit in the ear. They seem a little tight but that may be a good thing as they don’t feel like they will fall out.
As for the 4 star rating for sound quality — I do the vast majority of my listening with my Sennheiser HD 598 headphones and CX 3 buds. I have many brands and types of ear buds and the highest rating I have ever given any earbuds other than my Sennheiser buds is a 3 star rating. I just want to put that in perspective.
I currently have apple AirPods but when working out they tend to fall out of my ear and it gets annoying so I wanted to try new headphones that would stay in place and that wouldn’t be super expensive and wow these headphones are truly amazing quality. They stay snug while working out and the noise cancellation is really good especially when I am studying and need some quite.
This whole mask wearing thing has played havoc with my wireless earbuds . I must have an oversized head because the elastic pulls at my ear and every so often pops the earbud out of my ear . As such I am a frequent purchaser of earbuds. Tozo are the best for my money. They sound good and work well. And they keep getting better and better. Their noise cancelling works really well, they sound good , and they are easy to connect. What is not to like.
I don’t have the money to waste on apple airpods given my high turnover and these work just as well!
So I have had the NC2 for 3 days now.
Sound quality is clear when it comes to hearing podcasts, listening to music that really emphasize vocals, and also on phone calls.
The comfort is amazing, had worn the earbuds for about 3 hrs straight and not a single bit of discomfort.
The charging case is incredible and have not have had a single issue charging the earbuds. (It is a little odd that the charging port doesn’t insert all the way, but it charges just fine and doesn’t come out in any way.
There is an issue with the noise cancellation that I have. So when all is fine around surrounding and there minimal to moderate surrounding noises the earphones to fine blocking the sounds. But for some reason when there is a big noise or bang the earphones pop. Or for instance when I would get out of my truck and close the door the earphones would pop. I also own the NC9 by Tozo and never have I had that issue with the noise cancellation. It truly is very odd.
I have truly thoroughly enjoyed these earbuds. It is my first pair with the stem style earbuds. Sound quality is good and fit is very comfortable. The only shortcoming is that of the noise cancellation
These earbuds are my favorites for wearing at work. I have other Tozo earbuds, and they all provide excellent sound. But these NC2 are able to play music at a very low volume to where I can still hear coworkers say something to me. Other earbuds are still too loud at the lowest volume setting to hear when someone is talking to me. When nobody is around it is nice to turn up the volume a little more and that is when the sound quality really shows, especially when listening to music on Amazon that is in ultra HD.
The media could not be loaded. As always, a great value. The good:
– Packaging is always top knotch
– Quality/Price is excellent
– Comfortable with plenty of sizes of ear bud pads
– Extremely easy to connect to phone – takes less than 20 seconds
– Come full charged and hold the charge very well
The not so good:
– I prefer the case of the T12’s, as the case for the NC2 is too small for my fingers. I feel like I am fumbling around trying to get the pods out, rather than it being a smooth operation like my other pair. I also prefer having the charge indicator LED like the t12’s have. Once I do manage to get the buds out and into my ears, they do sound great, and when I start traveling again, I might appreciate the smaller case more.
I’m a sound engineer, and I have a very discriminating ear. So trust me when I tell you these earbuds are not only a pleasure to use, but also reproduce sound comparable to a much, much more expensive pair. The engineers at TOZO really put some care into development. They didn’t cut any corners on this one. The charge lasts all day long (or even longer), and I love the small wireless charging case. They paired to my phone right out of the box, and they are easily paired to any other bluetooth device. I’m a big fan of the stem style earbuds, and I feel like they are more balanced in my ear, comfortable for all-day wearing. They seem to be very solid as well.
Calls are clear, and people cannot even tell that I am speaking over the earbuds. Bluetooth 5.2 functionality really increases the range and connection stability, and I can wear them everywhere in my apartment. The noise cancelling feature is phenomenal. Yesterday, I was outside taking a telephone call and could not hear the street noise! I was shocked when I toggled the transparency mode on to reveal the wind and the traffic. Use these and you’ll find your calm.
Now for what I really care about: the sound… I’m pretty sure that after you hear them, your quest to find the perfect earbuds will be over. There is an accentuated low end, but it’s not overwhelming. I like it this way. Highs and mids are balanced, and the soundstage is as wide as some of my more expensive headphones. They get mighty loud as well. I listen to many different genres, and every one has sounded fantastic. You could pay several times more to get comparable sound, and I don’t know how the engineers can pull that off at such a low price point. I have a feeling that these headphones will cause the competitors to squirm.
The media could not be loaded. I liked the TOZO NC9 so much that I bought the NC2 also. They are great! I posted an unboxing video so please watch it to get my full opinion. The microphone quality in the first part of the video is from the NC9 earbuds. At 2:43 the microphone is from the NC2. The quality it awesome! I can tell you that the sound quality and noise suppression is fantastic too. I love that there are two modes of noise suppression. You can head off into your own world in ANC mode, if you still want to hear the world around (like walking on a busy street) put it on transparency mode, then only the high and low frequencies are filtered so that you can still hear a car coming or people talking to you.
I’m not going to lie, I believe the quality is above and beyond what you would expect at this price. The pairing of the earbuds to each other is almost instant once you take them out of the charging/carrying case, then they paired with my phone as soon as I opened that option in my bluetooth settings. I watch videos and play games with these earbuds and the sound is instantaneous! That was one of my main criteria. I have a special Amazon playlist for testing headphones, and these earbuds perform very well. https://music.amazon.com/user-playlists/a4f0e562722247d7be53a45f5661d29dsune?ref=dm_sh_eba6-657f-b3f0-b9dd-54b6d
I really don’t think you can get a better earbuds for the price with TOZO. Both these and the NC9 are excellent.
