Mine worked right out of the box on a new Samsung 55” QLED.

I do not recommend purchasing this remote. It stopped working after one week of use and I returned it.

The remote on the left is my original OEM that came with my TV that lasted about a year. We drop remotes often. Smh . This one is cheaper and works GREAT. Love how the Netflix, Amazon have separate buttons making it an instant press. Wish they had Hulu instead of Rakuten TV because it is not in the USA. For the price it is still well worth it.

I bought my Samsung TV Open Box and it did not come with the remote. For reference I own the Samsung Q60R and when looking for the remote it was $65 which is pretty crazy. I saw this on Amazon and it looked exactly the same for $15 bucks so I thought I’d try it out. IT WORKS PERFECTLY. Build quality was surpisingly good for the price and I have no real issues with the remote.

Per Samsung’s website, any of their IR remotes will work with any of their TV’s even if it wasn’t made specifically for that model. So, you could buy an older/cheaper remote from them if you didn’t mind possibly losing some functionality like a Netflix or Amazon video button. This remote controller WILL WORK with your Samsung TV and does not compromise as it looks like a modern Samsung remote and has the smart TV functionality buttons.

All in all, very impressive. Get this remote.

This remote works on my Samsung TV 55inch un55tu7000. The battery cover is easy to remove, if you start at the end with the power button. After installing two AA batteries, (not included)I found that it worked better then the stock remote. Note two buttons, (that I do not care about) do not function on this model TV. The stock Samsung remote has 42 buttons, far too many. compared to this little replacement remote, which has only 12 buttons, plus the center control wheel. The TV set responds far more precisely to all inputs from this aftermarket remote, especially the volume control. The input buttons also feel superior to the stock unit. I am storing the stock remote, and will use this one from now on.

I purchased this remote as the added Netflix button and Prime Video button were an attractive feature. Rakuten I’ve never heard of and upon trying to use it, it tells me it’s an unsupported app in the USA. No wonder I haven’t heard of it!

The buttons all work perfect and do what they’re supposed to and it truly does have an OEM look and feel with added features. I do believe this remote has outdone Samsung on the original remote and I will probably be ordering another for my other Q6.

I bought a new 65″ Samsung QLED smart TV over a year ago. Ever since new it would turn itself back on within a minute or two of turning it off. I tried all the Samsung suggestions – none worked. I noticed that every time the TV turned itself on the remote LED flashed multiple times, so I suspected the remote was the culprit. Sure enough, I bought this inexpensive remote and the problem is totally resolved. Everything on it worked right out of the box. I do miss the voice capability that this remote doesn’t have, but I’m getting by without it. I ordered a second one of these as a spare since I don’t ever plan to go back to the troublesome Samsung remote.

We got this remote because our daughter lost the original and we couldn’t use the Samsung tv in our bedroom. Very frustrating because even the smart things app associated with our tv wouldn’t let us use it as a digital remote unless we set it up with the Initial remote to accept the app to work the tv! So had to buy another 1. I went the cheap route & got the remote without voice control. But it works perfectly and we found the original as well. So it’s nice to have two remotes JUST incase! Plus when the kids are in our room messing with our tv we MESS with them lol turn the tv off raise the volume change the channels till they get annoyed and leave lol I’d say this lil remote does the trick in more ways than one.

I recently got a new Samsung and hated the remote it came with. I use streaming services so most of the buttons on the stock remote are rendered useless and it was just not appealing and super bulky. This matches the Samsung sound bar remote almost exactly and is perfect. It’s simple so I don’t have to study the remote to know what button I need to press. On the stock remote, if you barely touched the wrong button it would take forever to get back to where you were or what you were wanting to do. This looks great and works even better. I’m getting another one for the TV in the living room.

Remote has a different, slightly cheaper feel than the original but has all the same functionality plus a dedicated Netflix button. Definitely worth the cost as a replacement or backup remote. Highly recommended. Fyi there is an extra button that does not do anything on US model QLED TVs.

Because I bought a 65” Samsung and it comes with a terrible control that has like 40 different b buttons that you will probably never use, they make the buttons very small and just annoying.
This new control only has a few and the circle button that works amazing! So easy to use and I memorize the whole remote already. So easy to use.. you will enjoy it!
