It says transfers up to 480 mbps
I use this with a Pixel phone and an older high-speed charger that can provide up to 35 watts with no problem. This connector should be able to easily handle 45 watts.
I don’t know why this got to me, because I didn’t buy this product, but I will tell you that if you have a wire with a USB-C that you need to connect to a USB port, this’ll do it.

Si sirve , la conexion es igual a la del Xs
It’s an adapter from USB-C to whatever usb or lightning on the other side. Newer iPhones and electronic devices are coming with usb-c cords. That is what these are for. They charge faster than Regular USB
ask the seller
I am using it with an iPad Pro 2018. I assume it would work for you too.
Unless you are exceeding the maximum voltage or amperage of any USB port or reputable charger on the market, it’s completely safe. It’s only facilitating a USB A to USB C change. These allow you to connect USB C to any USB A port, but only provide USB 2.0 connectivity. Even if plugged in to a SS or 3.0 port.
I am nt a hardware expert, but this might not work. Your Type-A USB port is probably *not* designed for charging, and therefore would not be able to be part of your charging process. If your docking station has video outputs, network, usb, etc, I would recommend one that can do at least usb 3 speeds. This one operates at usb 2. Charging should work fine though.
ok, if you look at the picture, the USB-C is female and the regular USB is the male part……
so – if you have a newer iPad with a USB-C, you can plug into this adapter and plug it into the USB port on your computer.
this item works, it is just slow – charging or exchanging data, but it does work.
It will let the iPad connect to the USB on a Mac, not familiar with if it would let you use it as a monitor but all in all it should work, but we both know how Apple products can reject things as well hope this helps
Yes this will work for that
It should work just fine.

Elebase USB C Female to USB Male Adapter – This product works but only up to around 44MB/s no matter which way it is attached to the USB C connector and will not do the full speed of my SSD which should be at least 430MB/s. I’ve attached some test results of a few different brands. I’d suggest getting the Onvian or Electop one instead as they will do the full speed of my SSD if you have it flipped correctly, and will do 44 MB/s if you do not have them attached correctly to the USB C connector.
Edit1: After reviewing the description again “480 Mbps” = ~60MB/s and speaking to Elebase it seems this device is only USB 2.0. With that in mind this device I feel performed according to specification but still lower than other devices that are USB 3.0 capable. It seems Elebase has a new USB 3.0 capable one and they have asked me if I would like to try it. If I receive this new design I’ll test it and try to update this post again.
Edit2: I received the newer USB 3.0 product and did some quick speed tests and it performs just as well as the other brands. I would suggest getting the Elebase product linked below if the USB 3.0 speeds matter to you.

Just what I needed. I have quite a few USB-C to USB-C cables that aren’t really useful to me – but I need a lot of USB-A (aka USB 3.0/3.1) to USB-C cables. These Elebase USB C Female to USB Male Adapters are just the ticket, turning those unused USB-C cables into USB-C to USB-A cables that work great.
On top of that, the fit is firm and the look is very nice with a metallic sheen and look well made.
I’m very happy with them so far – I will update them if anything changes.
I hope you find this to be a helpful review. If there is anything more you would like to know, please ask. I try to check my reviews for comments and respond to them right away. I have an iPhone XS may and I hate the plug that came with it… its slow! so naturally I spent more money to buy quick charging cables in different sizes and a wall plug to make them work. everything was going great, until I decided at 41 to buy an adjustable bed for my master suite. the bed came with 4 usba plugs in the base. well of course now I have to plug my phone there… instead of where its been for the last 2 years. ok great I’ve got plenty of cords… no I dont. I don have any usba to lightning cables that will reach! but I do have plenty of Usbc cables that will reach, but their plugs aren’t compatible. dilemma!!! how can I make this work. ahhh these little babies. u get 2 in the pack and b4 I even received them, I got an email from the company reminding me that they include a 12 month warranty. wow these guys r on the ball, when they get a new customer.
I naturally waited for the phone to die b4 I plugged it into my bed. I grabbed my 6 ft Usbc to lightning cable and rolled over in bed and bam power! power that reaches to my nightstand! in case u were wondering it took about 3 hours to charge without the quick charging wall plug that usually does it in 2, but that’s still faster then the 4 from the original cables. ahhh no wasted money. I love that. i love it when a product works like the description.
so now im taking my other plug into my 2020 Prius. the usba plug in the car is in a strange place, which has kinda made the cable bend in a U shape. its now permanently bent like that and it looks like it will brake soon. hmmm did apple just make a below average cord? it is also hard to jam the usb cable in even when u r not driving, so I was forced to leave the cable there for the last 4 months. well it wouldn’t b so bad if I wasn’t using 1 of the 2 cup holders for my cell phone holder and the second to store this stupid cord. everyday my boyfriend gets in the car with a drink so I have to move it over so it doesn’t get wet. here comes this guy. I yanked that cord out yesterday and replaced it with this guy and stored the plug in the center console… hello 2nd cupholder… welcome back. so now I can easily add the Usbc cable to this tiny thing sticking out easily. so happy!
PRICE: I only gave it 4 stars for value of money bc its kind of expensive for something that’s so small, but I did rate it 5 bc of how it has saved me from having to buy ANOTHER cord just for my bed.
I hope this was helpful.
one thing i’ve learned the hard way over the years is that when it comes to wired adapters you never know if what you order is going to be well made or junk. with these thankfully it turned out good as they are well made. the fit is tight and secure at both ends. no quality issues whatsoever. as for handling power? i have only used them with a 25W adapter to date but unlike some these don’t even get warm to the touch. i mention that as in my initial search i read several reviews on other brands where end users wrote of over-heating issues. again as said no issues with these at all.
i wouldn’t hesitate to purchases these again if needed.
The adapters arrived promptly. They feel very solid. The connections are snug.
All I have to use it with is a type C hub. The audio on the hub works with the these adapters. The USB ports on the hub work with the these adapters. The video works, the Ethernet connector on the hub with this adapter. I really had intended to order type C male to type A female. My mistake, but I was really pleased with the quality of materials and functionality. I’m happy to have these on hand for future use.
I would do business with this company again.
And it’s that they’re not both purple. lol. I honestly have no other complaints. I gave a 2013 MacBook Air that would be on its way to becoming a paperweight if these clever little modification devices weren’t available. And if you’re one of those people who thinks that all things tech are created equal, you haven’t utilized USB devices enough or micro usb or anything in the damned usb family. I will refrain from metaphors, but if you plug something in and never move it, sure. Everything may be great. But the more you plug and unplug, because you’re on the go- You can’t remember which side is supposed to be up because one way it won’t go in at all but the other way up, that doesn’t feel plugged in at all. It’s really loose and eventually, your usb end will just fall out sometimes. One day your machine will tell you there’s not even a usb plug in there anymore no matter what you plug in or how well it seems to fit. It resents you now and it just shut you out. There’s no reason me for me to think that won’t happen with usb-c ports. Micro USB ports seem like they’re too much work to get in out of the gate. One thing I know is that is that these little devices will take the abuse and stay in my USB port as long as I want them to because they are low profile. I typically use dust plugs but hey, micro dust? I guess we’ll see. I have a mouse and that uses a usb plug that I never remove. This device is only slightly higher profile. Come to think of it, I’m sure there’s usb-c sized dust plug in my bag of tricks. Hmmm. Anyway. I love it. I use one for my external hard drive and one for my disc drive. If they were all purple I’d be I’d marry them.
These are inexpensive “must haves” that should have been included with every iPhone 12 sold so that you can use the included cable with all the USB-A chargers you’ve got strewn around the house. It makes all the difference in the environmental justification. I keep one in my tech travel kit in my backpack and another among all the cables and chargers in my desk. Indispensable. And makes a terrific stocking stuffer for anyone on your Christmas list who already purchased an iPhone 12.
I use these with my keyboard USB port since it’s USB A not USB C. I have USB C earbuds (that came with my Pixel 3 XL), and I love them. However, my computer only has 1 USB C port and it doubles as the charging port (thanks Razer), so that means I can’t use the USB C port most of the time. That’s where these come in! They’re great. Highly recommended.
Have added this essential to my brand-new MacBook Air. I resisted replacing my 2013 Air in large part because I didn’t want to give up MagSafe, but it got too old be be able to get the needed software upgrades, battery is getting tired, and so on, and the M1 chip is a compelling upgrade. So my first peripheral purchase had to be a magnetic adapter for the USB-C power plug, and this one works a treat. I had no difficulty plugging it in (yes, it’s a snug fit, but didn’t need any unusual force). Using the other USB-C port is not a problem unless the connector is bulky for some reason (and a short extension cable would fix that). I rarely plug much of anything else into my laptop anyway. The magnet is strong enough to hold but disconnects readily if knocked or pulled, so it does what it’s supposed to do. Seems solidly built, and I like the 90-degree angle and the LED indicator. It’s nicely packaged with a little tool to help you get the thing back out of the port if you need to. Overall I’m quite pleased!
Recently I bought a couple “higher end” high-wattage capable USB-C cables for my phone and by my own mistake I ordered cables with USB-C on both ends.
Low and behold I ordered these little guys to convert one end of my fancy new cables to a standard USB type A connector. Plugging the new cable assembly into my Samsung quick charger my phone would not charge at a rate better than standard. The cables themselves work well when plugged into my friends newer Samsung quick charger with a USB-C output so the problem has to lie with the adapters. I can’t find fault in the adapters for the price. They DO connect AND charge my phone, just not at quick charge speed.
I ended up buying a 5 pack of standard phone charging cables and my phone loves them. For now these little adapters will reside in my van storage containers for potential use out in the field.
