The comment that "Thunderbolt 3 is just Apple’s name for USB-c" is wrong wrong wrong. T3 cables handle 100w charging and 40GB/s data rates. This cable will not do that (thus the seller’s comment that it won’t work with monitors). A true T3 cable runs $30 or more, depending on the length. Thank you for your inquiry. It is a charging and data cable not Thunderbolt 3 cable so it can NOT output video.
Yes, it works with any USB type c phone connector
I don’t see why they wouldn’t.
Yes, this cable can work with google pixel
I don’t know about this I don’t have a power bank
No it won’t. The wireless charging cradle is not USB C powered.
As long as the adapter has a USB C hole. It’s different than regular USB
Try a fast charge (high output) charger. If that doesn’t help, you may have a cord issue or an adapter issue if you are using a USB-C to USB adapter on one end. The S9+ uses a usb-c connector so it should work if you are using a charger with sufficient output. I can tell you that older, lower output chargers will work … Try a fast charge (high output) charger. This cable probably does not use data transfer but is only used for a power source. You will need to get a cable that specifies data transferring
I got the red one since other options were not available at the time…but they might have it when they get more in stock
Yes, the USB C to USB C Cable is compatible with Apple iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) 3rd generation.
Xps 13 is a 48w 2.5amp charger with a usb c tip on it that means its roughly a 19v powersupply as are most laptop power supplies these days
Look at the specs of the cables and make sure they will handle that type of voltage
Mine mini iPad is a 6th generation. I don’t believe this will work on the 5.
Thanks for your inquiry! This usb c to usb c cable support fast charge for pixel 3, please feel free to use. Hope you would like it!
Info About USB-C to USB-C Cable [2-Pack 6.6ft], JSAUX USBC Type C Charging Charger Cord Compatible with Samsung Galaxy S22/S21/S20 Ultra, Note 20/10, MacBook Air, iPad Pro, iPad Air 4, iPad Mini 6, Pixel-Grey (Reviews From Amazon)
This cable has a usb type c connector on both ends. This is nice because this connector can be inserted without having to worry about its orientation. Just get it lined up with the port and push. It works. It also supports fast or quick charging (15W @ 5V, 3A). Note that not all devices with fast charge at these settings, but it is is probably fine for many phones. It is also usb 2.0 and supports data transfers at 480Mb/s. These days, this is a pretty low spec, though, and many new devices operate at must faster data rates.
This cable is well made and even looks nice (why I bought it over those ugly cables).
What this is not is usb 3.0 gen 1 or gen 2 cable. Hence, it does not support either 5 Gb/s (5Gbps) or 10 GB/s (10Gbps) or even 20 Gb/s (20Gbps). It is not a Thunderbolt 3 cable so you cannot drive a monitor with this cable. It looks exact like these other cables which support must faster data transfer rates, but it only transfers at usb 2.0 speeds (480Mb/s) so it is slow by comparison. Don’t use this for your data transfers to hard drives or especially SSD drives if you want the faster speeds. If your new laptop came with a fancy usb type c port that promises Thunderbolt 3 transfers speeds, or usb 3.1 gen 2 transfer speeds, or even usb 3.1 gen 1 transfer speeds, don’t get this cable for this device. It will not provide the speeds that these other ports can deliver, thus giving you must slower data transfer rates than what your device is capable of, and what you paid your money for. While this certainly seems obvious on the face of it, one typically tends to forget these details months after you make a purchase and decide you want to get a new cable.
This is a perfectly fine cable for the its intended purpose.
Updated Review:
The cable has nice and strong build quality and it worked well for a month charging my Moto X4 and wife’s Nexus 5x. Then one day the charging port on my wife’s Nexus 5x got damaged when charging with this cable. The metal, which does give the cable a premium feel, on the ends of the cable got very hot. Had to get her a new phone. Not sure if it was the phone or the cable to fault.
I was contacted by the customer service and requested to having the damaged cable for their engineers to figure out what may have gone wrong. They also reimbursed me for the new phone I had to get. The customer service was great, and I added a star back for them trying to figure out what may have gone wrong and also compensating for my loss.
When I ordered these I felt like they would be too good to be true but they are flipping amazing! And such a steal! And you get TWO of them?! Great quality, long, thick, bendable works PERFECT with my new iPad Pro 12.9! I will absolutely be ordering from them again!!
I have tried a number of cables and discovered many don’t seem to work. A number of them for some odd reason would not fast charge (just normal charge) and also there seemed to be an issue with a Pixel 2 being recognized for file transfers to PC – connections frequently posted an error. So when I attached this cable (to a newly installed male-female extension cable routing my desktop Thunderbolt 3 port from back of PC to desk (top), I received a Fast-Charging notice on the Pixel 2. Thumbs up! HOWEVER, within seconds up popped the frustrating message that an error occurred and device was not recognized. My first thought was ‘here we go again, damn!’ As I detached the cable from the extension I thought ‘maybe a driver issue’, did a number of searches and determined drivers were current so I started packing up the [nice] cables ready for a return.
Before sending, I decided to try one more test, attach the Pixel to my laptop and see what happens. Well what do you know, it made a good connection and prompted me for the action to choose what I wanted to do. After selecting File Transfer, everything worked. So now I paused and thought. Maybe the data functions over Thunderbolt/USB C 3.1 were super sensitive to max cable length limitations…
I unplugged the extension cable from my desktop computer, plugged the JSAUX cable directly into the desktop Thunderbolt port and plugged the other end into the Pixel 2. Viola! Everything came up as it should and file transfers worked without a hitch. So I can say I highly recommend this well constructed, high quality cable. Great price for the pair and does everything I need.
One final note – many cables don’t seem to ‘snap’ in cleanly to the Pixel 2, leading to a poor connection, resulting in a ‘charging’ confirmation despite plugging into a fast-charger. No such problem with the JAUX cables, they seem to have a better fit and make a good connection every time.
I don’t often author reviews; however, when I do it is within the context that opinions are not substitutes for facts. If a product meets expectations, the ratings of the general public consensus often echo my sentiments I stand in silent agreement. If a product exceeds my customer experience and expectations and my opine maintain it warrants five-star praise and perhaps a sprinkle of some constructive criticism. On the contrary, if the product customer experience for me is the inverse and the customer experience is unsatisfactory, then one or two stars is the pretext of my written critique. Now on the to the product review of USB C to USB C Cable [2 Pack 6.6ft], JSAUX USB-C to USB-C Fast Charger Nylon Braided Charging Cord Compatible.
FIVE STARS across the board.
I have purchased several. Nothing short of excellent QC + QA manufacturing process. flawless form, function, and performance. Highly recommended. Unit cost may be fractionally higher than competitors, however, the expense is worth the quality and performance ROI (return on investment)
Used these to replace OG Google Pixel cables. They work great on the original Google charger. I have the 2nd cabled plugged into the USB-C on my Asus X470-f Rog Strix Gaming motherboard to charge my phone when I am at my PC Desk. Both cabled work great and rapid charge correctly.
I bought these cables for use in charging the Ipad Pro as I did not have any USB C chargers lying around. The length is great, 6 ft, which can accomadate most of all situations. The build quality is there and it feels like a premium product. I do love that they put a strap on both cables so that when you wrap it up you can keep it wrapped. This order does come with two cables… so it never hurts to have a backup right?
I have no issues or cons with the cable and would recommend this to anyone needing to Charge an Apple Ipad Pro 11″. I can’t speak other items that need USB C though.
Recently bought a Note 20 Ultra and the stock cable is only 3 foot long, so I needed something longer that would allow Samsung Super Fast Charging. I have a set of JSAUX cables I bought over 4 years ago that are still in perfect shape, but they aren’t USB C to USB C.
I can verify that these cables work with the stock Samsung charger to trigger Samsung Super Fast Charging on both the Note 20 Ultra and S20 Plus.
I also bought the ELECJET X30 USB C 25W AC charger for about 15 bucks to take to work, and that works with these cables to trigger Super Fast Charging as well, if you’re in the market. I know many chargers claim to do this and in fact don’t, or cost twice as much.
So I needed a USB C cable for my Pixel 2 XL after my Motorola turbo charger burnt out for the second time and these had good reviews so I figured why not, let me tell you these are probably the nicest cables I’ve ever owned. They are nice and long in a time where phones ship with insanely small cables(remember when the flip phones came with like an 8 foot cable?) The cables are rigid and sturdy with a Kevlar wrap and the connectors fit snug. AND YOU GET TWO OF THEM! Buy them now, oh but make sure you pay attention to what type of cables you are buying, I needed USB C to USB C but some of you might need USB A to C
I kept my beloved Galaxy Note 5 for like 7 years, but the time finally came to get a new phone. I chose the Galaxy S22 Ultra. I ordered these JSAUX chords because the brand looked like it had pretty decent reviews. I wanted something that would charge fast because I don’t want to charge my phone overnight and cycle the battery like carzy right away, so I needed something that would charge it enough for the whole day while I get ready in the morning. I was pleasantly surprised when these cords arrived. These are much higher quality than any other chords I’ve ever had. They are more robust and appear to be made of higher quality material than any of the other braided cords I’ve purchased previously. Both chords came wrapped in the nice cord management velcro straps. When paired with the 30W JSAUX wall charger my new phone charges remarkably fast. The screen reads “super fast charging” as one would expect if both the chords and charger work as advertised. This is definitely a brand I will be purchasing from again, as well as recommending to others.
