Facts About USB Outlet Extender Surge Protector – with Rotating Plug, 6 AC Multi Plug Outlet and 3 USB Ports (1 USB C), 1800 Joules, 3-Sided Swivel Power Strip with Spaced Outlet Splitter for Home, Office, Travel
I am not an electrician, but know what a cfgi outlet is, and its purpose. I have them in my home. The outlet I am using is not one, but is in another bathroom. I would check with your electrician first. It can rotate to a horizontal position easily, but would still slightly block the reset button on outlet if needed.
Please plug in first, and then turn it left or right.
On the back it states “Made in China”

No
No it does not have a humidity warning.
Correct – It does not.
Don’t know about any of these issues but I have the product and it works just fine.
Just as an FYI, there only needs to be 1 GFCI plug on the circuit, and the GFCI protection can even be implemented at the circuit breaker. So it could be protected at another location. Having 2 GFCI units on the same circuit actually causes problems. (Adam, Rachel’s husband).
No. A dryer plug is different from a normal 3 prong plug and pulls too many amps to be on an extension cord. A washer needs to be on a dedicated circuit and a 12gauge extension cord.
volts x amps = watts
5 x 3.1 = crappy product that can’t even power an iPhone at PD
as I understand it, all of the plugs are surge protected.. They say there are 3 complimentary circuits, which are circuits to hand the surges.
From the back of the device: VPR (L-N):800V. VPR = Voltage Protection Rating = Clamping voltage = Let through voltage. A GOOD surge protector would have 3 voltages listed; (L-N), (L-G) and (N-G). And would have 3 ratings of 330 or 400V. This is a bad surge protector.
from what i can tell .. very minimal. tiny led light is on
I only purchased white. I didn’t see black as an option.

It got pretty crowded on our bathroom vanity, and we needed more electrical outlets! Our dual wall-mounted box has a two-outlet GFI and two switches, controlling the bathroom light and exhaust fan. In addition, we have two electric toothbrush chargers and a water flosser that require 120Vac, as well as a hot water circulator pump that’s inside the vanity. That’s 4 permanent connections already, and we occasionally need to plug in a vacuum cleaner to tidy up the upstairs hall.
I used to get by with a conventional cube tap, but one of the plugs partially obstructed the switch for the bathroom light. It worked, but wasn’t a particularly practical solution! You can see the original configuration in the picture on the right.
I spent a lot of time looking at various devices similar to this. Most of them had to be mounted vertically and were too wide, so they wouldn’t fit into the space next to my two switches. This one is actually slim enough so that it would fit vertically without interfering, but it would necessitate moving my hot water circulator from the bottom outlet, where I prefer to keep it. The fact that this extender allows rotation solved my final problem! The picture on the left shows how I have things configured now, and I still have some open outlets – so I can plug in the vacuum or a hair dryer. (If I had enough hair to dry…)
The other touted features of the extender — surge protection and USB charging — are also handy. I have a Bluetooth speaker that requires periodic recharging, as well as a rechargeable hair trimmer/shaver. Nice not to have to plugin a wall wart to take care of them!
One of the other reviews mentioned a bit of instability of the unit when it’s rotated outside of being vertical. This is because there’s a switchplate on the outlet that serves as a stabilizing base when it’s mounted vertically. With the 90 degree orientation, plugging something in tends to cause the connection to the outlet to back out a little. I solved this by stacking some felt pads between the back of the extender and the wall. You can see this arrangement in the center picture.
One thing I’d like to see would be some positive indexing on the 90 and -90 degree positions. It has a continuous 180 degree rotation capability and doesn’t tend to hold the orientation as perfectly as I’d like. Yeah, I’m a perfectionist. It’s a disease…
I like this thing very much. It’s a little pricey, but it does a lot of things and sure solved my problem! I imagine the electrical inspector won’t be impressed, but you won’t tell him, will you?!
I ordered two of this, one for our Master Bath (picture shown) where we charge our Philips Sonicare & Oral-B ProClean Rechargeable tooth brushes. We love these for TWO solid reasons (1) 180° Rotating Design and (2) 1800 Joules Surge Protection. This is a perfect one to go with a GFCI Outlet (you won’t see it clearly, but I’ve plugged this into the Master Bath’s GFCI outlet).
The other one I use in our Mobile Devices Charging station (close to our Breakfast Table area), where we use the USB Ports in addition to the standard plugs.
Wonderful design… smart partnership between Mifaso & Amazon. Keep up the good job! (as usual, fast Prime delivery too).
This outlet extender was just what I needed to protect the plug for the refrigerator! Our refrigerator outlet is upside down in relation to the plug for the refrigerator. However, the rotation option for this outlet extender is perfect, allowing the plug for the refrigerator to be plugged into the rotated outlet extender right-side up! Having the rotation option in a small-size outlet extender with surge protector is a GREAT IDEA! The small size with surge protection and rotation option makes this unit perfect for use in the wall outlet behind the refrigerator! I highly recommend this unit!
Works great and the form factor seems to work well in most hotel rooms I also got one of those other mini-extension cables. In the hotels there is usually a power plug on a lamp, usually only suitable for one outlet and it is NEVER convenient for my phone charger. This little guy has plenty of places to plug in and I don’t need my adapter to charge my phone, kindle, and ear buds. I can even use it to charge my laptop without spreading stuff out all over the room (where there is the risk of forgetting it).
I have a plug in my kitchen that has a light switch next to it. So other than getting a surge protector that sits on the table under the outlet, I wanted something that would fit around the outlet. But still the issue with some extenders is that it would hit my light switch whenever I took anything off the outlet. This actually can swivel to whichever angle you want and it also has usb outlets which is a nice option!
I ordered two of this, one for my living room and the other is in my office. I love these for TWO solid reasons (1) 180° Rotating Design and (2) 1800 Joules Surge Protection. This is also a perfect one to go with a GFCI Outlet (In case you’re wondering). I will be buying 2 more of these!

I thoroughly like these outlet extender & surge protectors. The simple fact you can turn them to a different position, in order to accommodate say… a refrigerator, battery charger, and a lamp. Works really well.
These are convenient enough to add the devices you need to connect to power, plus charge your cell phone, tablet, et cetera with the USB ports, all without an actual cable (aside from the cables that plug into this device).
It’s a great device with many plugs to choose from. We are able to use it in the kitchen but we know it will fit any plug in the whole house. The only negative is that the plug spins to 90 degrees which feels unnecessary (at least for us) but overall, we’d buy again and love using it!
But I soon learned that it was more useful tidying up my room with my WiFi, printer, and several other devices to unclutter the mess. Will it also work on my garage outlet for outdoor security camers’ AC wires strung out from the attic, and down a garage wall to the outlet for multiple camera wires? Of course it will.
I am not using it for travel. However, I do have a few older GFI outlets that face sideways, making them nearly impossible to connect enough devices. I got this for its rotating base plug. Now I can have the extra plugs neatly tucked just below the original plug, not create a huge mess.
