Yes! That’s exactly why I got it. Works great!
I think it will work with any smartphone with usb-c port.
If it has audio supported usb-c port, then it will work.
I just bought these at first the 3.5 Jack wouldn’t let me stick the male 3.5 into it. But I try more and realized that it was just tight so I inverted it and reinsert it and eventually it loosened up and it slid all the way in. Now it works like a charm. Yes. The cable adapter works awesome
It IS true that plugging a TRRS (Tip, Ring, Ring, Sleeve) 4-Pole into a TRS 3-Pole connector will only produce headphone audio, losing all functionality of the microphone.

NOTE – No damage will occur unless the signal output exceeds the specifications of your headphones which will destroy the headphones regardless if the circuit is completed to the mic or not. Ergo, possible damage to headphones from a typical mobile device’s or computer’s direct output is virtually nonexistent (particularly 250Ω audiophile cans).
Both speakers and microphones are examples of transducers. To demonstrate this, simply slip a set of headphones (with a 1/4″ male plug) over the body of any nylon or metal strung acoustic guitar. Then plug that into the input of your favorite 100-watt Marshall stack and crank it up to 11.
If you are talking about the Samsung galaxy 21pluse YES it does
Unfortunately no, it’s strictly for audio output
since the connections are the same as Android, they should but I can not say from experience.
I use these to connect headphones to my S21 and it works. I have an older car (2006 Honda). So I don’t know if they can be connected to the car music system.

I was about to post the following poor review before I gave this device one more try. If you are having any of the following problems please read through to the solution.
“I wanted to use this with my galaxy s20 and bose soundtrue headphones. This device created a static crackling noise whenever the cloth cable moved and constantly paused my music with a prompt to use it as a phone call device. I found that by holding pressure on my 3.5 mm audio jack into the female port on this device the sound quality was very good. As soon as I let go the sound quality went too.” – device did not seem functional.
I reconnected the device one more time and found that my existing 3.5 mm jack just did not seem to fit well into the female 3.5 mm port and was partially sticking out. I applied greater pressure on this connection and to my surprise it clicked in all the way creating a solid cable to cable connection. I plugged the other side back into my s20 and turned the music on. Excellent sound quality and zero audio interruptions or interference. Five stars, excellent product. I included two pictures. One of the device seated properly and one improperly.
One more note, as this device plugs into your phone charger port it would be a good idea to clean the debris and lint from that port before expecting this product to seat properly.
This aux connector fits perfectly on the Samsung S21 phone. The sound quality comes through perfectly.
I drive a lot and it’s been a pain point that I couldn’t plug my phone into the car’s auxiliary audio unless I threw my phone in the console where it wouldn’t be accessible. The car is sufficiently old to be lacking Bluetooth integration so I was looking for a way to hook the phone up so I could listen to Tunes and my favorite music streaming services while still being able to easily view and access the phone.
I researched the cables available and found this female to male audio cable that would essentially extend the car’s auxiliary audio cable to where I could place the phone in its holder and still see the phone.
The length was perhaps a bit long for that purpose but the added length makes it more adaptable– back seat drivers– oops, I mean passengers– can also use it.
The plugs on both ends are precisely sized so there are no fit issues. The physical sturdiness of the cable is good and feels like it will stand up to a lot of use. Sound quality is great too — not any different than using just the car’s existing auxiliary cable by itself.
I’m pleased with this choice and am thrilled that with the addition of a splitter adapter on the bottom of my phone, I am able to both plug it into the car audio and charge at the same time. Total win for those of us with older cars!
I got tired of my new Samsung wireless Pro Buds uncomfortable fit and that they would just fall out when running so I wanted to go back to my wired ear buds. This product does the job without any static or dropouts. Fits securely in the smartphone USB-3 port and tightly around the ear bud jack. The price was pretty nice too!
Was frustrated to learn Samsung dropped the audio port from one of their latest phones, but this does the trick. I plug it into the charging port, then plug my headphones into the other end of the device. Completely satisfied. Impressed that the short cord seems well made and sturdier than the usual type of cord. Have only had it a short time though so I can’t comment on longevity.
Feels sturdy enough. I only recently discovered my phone did not have a 3.5mm headphone jack when I tried connecting it to an AUX port on a radio in an older vehicle I just bought. This little adapter fixes that. I only hate I can’t charge the phone at the same time, but that’s the phone’s fault, not this device’s.
I greatly appreciate this product because Samsung followed Apple’s footsteps by removing the headphone jack (even though earlier Samsung S/Note models had them water resistant!). I believe it was to bolster their respective bluetooth headphone businesses, and both are doing quite well, even though wired headphone sound is still superior when high-quality DAC technology is employed as was done on LG (and some Samsung) devices, despite codecs used with bluetooth. I have very good wired headphones and now I can finally use them on my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G with all the nicities such as Dolby Atmos that the phone provides. It doesn’t hurt that this USB-C to 3.5mm jack is inexpensive, either.
I have wireless earbuds but sometimes they need to charge and I don’t mind using my wired headphones. But my newer Samsung phone doesn’t have a headphone jack anymore (which seriously is a bad move by these companies IMO). So plug this into the USB-C charging port and the DAC will give you sound just like a normal jack would. I haven’t noticed any static or other unwanted noise with these. I’ve got one and my wife has the other. She uses hers the most as she’s always listening to audio books. So happy to have these.
This adapter works great with my new Samsung S22. Thank god since Samsung did away with the headphone port!!! I am not a Bluetooth person, they always POP out of my ears :(. So I have a go to set of ear buds that kind of hook into my ears that I buy and have been using for years. This plugs right into the charging port and my earbuds plug right into it. I have no issues with sound or noise. I did purchase a wireless charger so I could still charge my phone while using the headset.
I didn’t realize I needed this until I went to plug my headphones into my new phone. I went to Amazon and found what I needed for a quick turnaround. Great quality product also.
In conclusion, the adapter is simple to use, as well as it simplifies things for the users who wish to have the audio jack of their smartphone on their PC. The adapter is light, small, slim and is of incredible quality. The adapter is small, compact and easy to carry around.
