Facts About Uvital RJ11 Duplex Wall Jack Adapter Dual Phone Line Splitter Wall Jack Plug 1 to 2 Modular Converter Adapter for Office Home DSL Fax Model Cordless Phone System, White(2 Packs)
The only one mattering is the one to the phone line. The others are your choice.
no only one phone line can use the jack not two different lines
It works wonderfully with my home phone and printer/fax. Thus far I have not had any complaints.
I"m not sure what you mean by "old-fashion". If the RJ11/12 (telephone) jack is not damaged the adapter will plug in and be held securely with the tab. The tab must be depressed so that the adapter can be removed. If you can plug a telephone cable into into the wall jack the adapter will fit.
I use this jack adapter and my phone operates through a modem. I use one jack for the phone and the other for a separate caller id unit. Since this works for me, I am guessing it would work for what you want to do
My line cord runs from wall plug to the duplex wall jack that is plugged into the modem with the phone plugged into the other jack. Originally I plugged the splitter into the wall but now I only need one long line cord.
You should not need a duplex jack to receive faxes as they have a distinctive ring tone that your machine will recognize and receive. No separate phone line needed as it can use same line as phone.
As long as the printer/fax doesn’t need a line filter, it should work. If a filter is needed, try installing it on the side the fax/printer is connected, leaving the other side open for the phone, assuming that the phone is a totally separate device. If that won’t work, just use a separate jack for the phone.
I used the device to input my telephone and my fax machine. That worked well. Beyond that, I don’t know the answer.
I’m sorry I can’t help you. I have know idea about a majic jack because I don’t have one and the Uvital 1 to 2 phone line splitter I bought is not the same as the picture shown . Sincerely , Nikki
It should but I haven’t tried it on a magic Jack it worked for my new printer for faxing so I would say yes
The wall jack should have 2 slots. You can plug in this unit in 1 of the slots and plug in 2 phone lines in it.
The other slot on the walk jack you can also use for another phone line. If your jack has 1 slot you can plug
in this unit for 2 phone lines.
I’m not sure if that would work. You might want to look at the product spec on the website.
If you can use it on a "regular" phone jack it should work. It does not alter the signal… just allows two devices to use the same telephone jack. I hope this helps.
No, this device is for connecting two telephone devices such as a corded phone and a fax machine in to a single RJ11 phone jack. An Ethernet Jack is an RJ45 connector and will not fit into this type of jack

I’ve bought a lot of these over the decades, most of them have always been a little weak on the clip holding them into the jack. This one clips in firmly and stays put and electrically provides a solid connection. There’s just not that much to say, but it does the job well and deserves a good review.
I got a new phone with caption and still wanted my 4 phone system. I unplugged the phone line from the wall jack and plugged in the adapter and and then plugged in the two phone lines and now have the two phone systems on one wall jack
The product is great and functions well, but I needed to return it. NOT a fault of the product. It did not meet the install requirements of the device I am using for a fall-detection alert system. Again, NOT a fault of this product.
I’ve always had a dedicated fax line that cost me $20+ a month. I moved and was trying to cut cost, but as most of us need to fax something once in awhile I was on a search for a less expensive way. I know years ago they had splitters, but due to owning a business I just broke down and got a separate line. No longer owning a business, but sometimes needing a fax, I was on a search for a less expensive way to use my all in one to fax.
Well I happened on this little guy. AWESOME. it worked instantly, now I don’t have to unplug my phone line and hook it up to my all in one to fax.
Please understand, as my husband didn’t, you can’t be on the phone and faxing at the same time, pick one or the other to use at that moment. I explained to him to use his cell if need be and fax.
I use VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) through my Internet Service provider. I only have one telephone line, but need to utilize my fax machine periodically. To avoid the hassle of plugging and unplugging the telephone cord from the phone to the fax, I utilized this splitter. It works perfectly, with no telephone quality loss at all. I highly recommend this if you need to use one telephone jack for more than one connection.
This land line telephone splitter did exactly what it was intended to do…. split one phone connection into two. Both sides of the line out worked. Now I have two devices plugged into one incoming land line.
It worked. I have Spectrum which only allows one landline port to its modem. This T allows me to be able to hook up my fax machine also. Same phone number!
I suppose all such splitters are pretty much the same. Mine did fix a connection and sound problem in my land line. I am a bit taken aback by the high potential of breakage of such devises seeing how flimsy that little lever is that’s suppose to click in the outlet.
With RadioShack dead and landlines going out of style, these little things are rare to find in stores, almost to the level of a unicorn. It clicks in, splits the phone line, and works. Two came in the pack and both worked. I use it to split a phone jack between a wireless phone that requires power and a classic phone that will work when the power goes out. Does its job can’t complain.
I needed this because I have a life line everyone is for cell phones but life line must have a land line
