Facts About Verbatim 3.5In HD 1.44MB Pre-Fmt IBM 10Pk (Discontinued by Manufacturer)
They are not frisbees
It is a 3.5" FD. If you have the older Sony digital camera, it will work in it, depends on your camera. Originally designed for the 3.5" FD in computers and laptops. I have a Sony FD Mavica, works perfect with it.
The part that slides to reveal the disk is plastic. Those that I have used work fine.
This is not a reader. These are actual floppy diskettes.
Single sided, double density disks are extremely, extremely rare. Moreover, these Verbatim disks are high density, not double density. High density disks are generally formatted at 1.44 MB.

My recording system software is on floppy discs as well. I purchased an outboard floppy drive by TEAC that utilized USB 2.0 connection to my computer so that I could both "burn" and play back the necessary floppies. Amazon has this unit and it performed well.
These are standard 1.44mb floppies. They should work on anything made in the mid 80s or later that has a floppy drive.
Windows 10 still supports floppy disks.
They should work just fine as long as you can gain access to the drive. I am still using 7 and put a shortcut on my desk top to access the USB drive.
What Susan said. If your computer has a floppy disk drive and the drive is functional it should be able to read the disc. If it doesn’t have a floppy drive you could get an USB-based floppy drive to read the contents.
These are standard tabbed 1.44 floppy disks. They have a tab that you can open or close to make them writeable or write protected.
Verbatim has packaged these with a variety of different style disks. Our current inventory (April 2018) is black disks with black plastic shutters.

Needed this as I was repairing a computer and the cheapest option for an old build.
One disk does not work but looks fine all other 9 were working correctly however given the age this is possible so not a huge issue.
When my wife purchased an embroidery machine that used floppy disks, I wondered what decade I went back to. Thankfully these were available. I’ve used them and ordered more. Not a bad disk in the box and works well to transfer designs from the computer to the embroidery machine.
I’m so happy that these disks are still available for purchase! I have a whole box somewhere that I can’t find, so I had to order more. These seemed to be the best buy for the amount of disks that I needed and a good brand name. They were in the original wrap, so they were new as was stated. I’ve already used one, and it works just like it should. I have an old Sony Mavica camera and I find it easier to use, and it takes better pictures than any of the other newer digital cameras that I have. Maybe the others are just too technically advanced for me?! If I need more, I will definitely buy from this seller again!
I hadn’t bought floppy discs in years but recently had a “computer emergency” which necessitated a purchase. Since the floppy is long since an obsolete technology they are not as easy to find as in times past. (The guy at Best Buy laughed at me when i asked about an external floppy drive.) At any rate I was happy to find these Verbatim discs for a good price and I only had to buy 10. They appear to be fresh and of high quality and have performed flawlessly so far. Definitely recommended.
good price for them
Have had no problem with any of the disks in the 10 pack I purchased in June 2012. Use them in my business – the safest low tech (these days) way to back up and share small amounts of data. Especially important to consider ways to store data other than using “cloud” storage which is very fragile, not necessarily secure, and you’re out of luck if your Internet connection goes down.
100 % Awesome. Original manufacturer box sealed. I would definitely buy again if I need more.
I love these disks.I wish the manufacture still continued these disks because I think that they are about the best. They work perfectly with more than one floppy drive and write and format well. The disks acess very fast with no lost data.I used only office depot brand floppy disks. These disks make me want to change brands
I just bought a copy of Windows 8 and wanted to back it up for archival. Decided to go with the simplicity of floppy disks. Only took 1,936 of these disks to back up the DVD. (Really wish I could have Subscribed and Saved, but at least it was FSSS.)
Amazingly, not a single bad sector through the whole process! A+ !
Floppy disks who needs them anymore ???????well I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I have a lot of data that works on older style music sequencer which still works well and every weekend I depend on these disks loading up midi files to play with live music. Run of the mill Staple or Best Buy brand floppy’s break, lose data etc, these seem to hang in their and give me confidence I need that wont quit on me. If your in a situation like me trust me they hold up.
