I spent hours researching phone mounts. I have previous used a magnet mount and a air vent mount. I wanted something sturdy and adjustable. I like this one and placed one in my Lexus RX350 and one in our Tacoma. So far we are very pleased. If we have any issues in the near future I will update my review. I also like that this one has a 12 month warranty.

Edit: updating my review after about three month. In response to what someone else said that the gray part bubbles in the heat- it may do this but it doesn’t damage and the bubbles go away. Not an issue at all. Both of my holders are standing strong. This is the best holder I could find and have ever used. I’m adding a photo to show how my husband did his sticking the suction cup only. REMEMBER TO THOROUGHLY CLEAN YOUR DASH FIRST.

It is very easy to install. Light, small and comfortable for my car (corolla). I am really delighted because I can put it on the windshield or on the dashboard and it is totally stable. I was worried that the cell phone would move from side to side or that it would fall off while it was driving, but the clip is firm and secure. It also comes with a small clip to put the phone on the air vent, so I can use it when I change cars. It was an excellent purchase, I totally recommend it.

By far, this is the best car phone holder I ever found after trying almost everything in the market. The extension feature and flexibility to reposition it is awesome! The suction and adhesiveness was not strong to hold a heavy phone on the dash board or windshield alone. I had to use suction on windshield and position the extended arm over the dashboard (se pic) to hold it safely without dropping from windshield. The front brackets could be redesigned to make it deeper and perhaps adjustable as well, with option to better grab and secure thick and heavy phones that use extra power battery (like mophie). The price is fair for the quality of the product. It is the most sturdy and reliable car phone holder to have, specially when driving over bumpy road. Highly recommended!

I have a Kia soul 2014 and the kia soul has a circle in the middle the stand worked perfectly for my car. Great buy.. it wasn’t bulky or anything like that.

I purchased this phone holder after having purchased a similar model the vendor sells. Like the other model, this is extremely well built and NOT flimsy at all. It allows you to position the phone in almost every position you can think of. The holder has firm “jaws” that firmly but gently hold the phone in place. You can easily charge your phone with the opening they provide at the bottom and easily remove the phone with the push of one button. i have an iphone 5 with an otterbox case and it held the phone snugly. The padded backing makes a nice secure fit on the phone. I set up the phone on a weighted bean bag mount on my dashboard in order that I had free and clear site rather than put it on the window. This is just a personal preference. The suction mount holds nice and tight and I can adjust the position of the phone horizontally or vertically as needed for phone calls or GPS. It is also handy when I receive calls, to simply put the call on speaker and use it as a hands free phone that is required on my state.

Everything I was hoping for and more, except… I would have wished to purchase another base, the part that you use if you have a rough dashboard. Yes, mine works just fine and does not come undone. However, if I could purchase just that part or if it came with two of them, I would have the option to place the mount in multiple locations like you can if you were mounting it on the windshield. Additionally, the instructions, clearly, acknowledges that it can only be used once, so why not put a second one in ( I would pay a little bit more) so that we have that second one just in case we want to relocate or just in case the adhesion does not go well? This is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

By the way, the price for this item is outstanding… At least, I think so. Just not so much that I would buy a second one, just for the base sticker.

UPDATED REVIEW: I recently had an issue with the Suction Cup Base in which it began losing its adhesiveness and already over half of the contact point was disconnected. I emailed Customer Support and they were very professional, very courteous in helping me going as far as to send me a replacement is very little if any issue. Thank you very much to my representative (Bella) who made my experience enjoyable. My rating has increased from a 4 star to a 5 star.

I purchased this for my wife for Mother’s Day. she found it very easy to install, but a word of caution. she wanted to try it in different places; window glasws, dashboard, vent etc. So she tried it on the windshield first, and that’s where it stayed. The suction is very strong and she actually liked it in that position, so it remains in the first spot. Just be aware that it does stick to the glass really well. I has some nice features, like having a telescoping arem that also articulates. She had to extend the arm to its fullest because of the windshield. There is only one, very slight problem, when the arm is extended fully, the phone will shake a little. This does not bother her since she is not watching videos while driving. The phone is an iPhone 7 and very easy to put into and remove from the holder. Once you place your phone into the holder, you squeeze the sides to lock it in. It won’t go anywhere. To get it out, you just push a button at the bottom to release the holding arms. Very easy. She is very happy with it. One more thing, it comes with everything you need for almost any kind of mount and it i built very well. Pieces are substantial. We highly recommend this holder by VICSEED.

The company got in contact with me, it seems the previous person that was working with me in customer service has left the company, and thus my e-mail back had not been found for a while. Once customer service got in touch with me, they sent me out a replacement, and sent me several notes to ensure everything was correct and offered to apply a lifetime warranty to the item if the same issues keep happening. At the end of the day – if a company stands by a product like that, and is willing to go above and beyond to help, I can’t really think of giving them less than 5 stars, so I am amending my review.

When first installed this mount seemed like it was going to work well. Over time, the clear suction cup became yellow. I e-mailed VICSEED that this did not look right and if they would replace it. This was really an eyesore on the windshield, but they said this looked normal to them and if it had more of an issue in the future they would help out.

A few months after this, I noticed it starting to melt, and so I went to take it off the windshield and it was a gooey mess as pictured. I messaged them back for a replacement, as they said they would provide one when the suction cup started to fall, but they never responded to my follow-up e-mail.

I can understand that things fail over time – but specifically they have the marketing claim that this “will leave no residue behind”. Per the pictures I have included, that does not seem true, and it was frustrating that they did not follow-up on the message to replace the unit.

I have tried a variety if phone mount holders in the past and the one thing all of them had in common was they never stayed in place. After reading several reviews, I ordered a Vicseed phone holder for my truck. I go camping and offroading often, so it can be nearly impossible to get a phone holder to stay put. I have been very impressed with the vicseed holder so far. I have been offroading with the holder and it was solid. Didn’t move or vibrate on the trail and held my phone perfectly for me to navigate via GPS. I have a Samsung s20 Ultra so its a big heavy phone and no problems whatsoever. Also i was impressed by the level of customer service from Vicseed. In addition to the standard Amazon follow-up email, I recieved a personal message from a live representative from Vicseed who was genuinely interested in my experience with their product and my level of satisfaction. Its refreshing to see a modern-day company taking a personalized old fashioned approach to customer service. I would definitely purchase from them again.

This is perfect. I have a SAAB 9 7x that has square rotating air vents so I really needed more of a dashboard suction kind of phone stand. The problem I often have is the dash is textured and does not hold onto the suction stands for too long. However, this phone stand uses a special kind of system that has a base with glue (that is only usable once, so place well) but cures for 24 hours. After the base is set then the suction part cleanly sucks up the to base, leaving you with an amazing phone stand that will not budge under any rough terrane.

The phone holder itself, I guess you could call it ‘basket’, fully adjusts to your phone using a gear system. The phone cannot fall out due to the friction and slight pressure the stand uses on the phone. In order to release your phone, you just press a small black button on the side, where the gears retract outward and release your phone. On the bottom of that stand, there is a little lip that holds your phone up a bit, it is split into two parts to allow you to charge your phone while it is on the stand.

My husband uses the air vent component (both parts are included when purchasing and remember I got two). The air vent component fits perfectly in the Honai Sonata’s vent and even has a special piece in the back that laches itself on behind the plastic panel. So when he takes his phone, the entire holder doesn’t come out of the vent with it.

Honestly, this was a genius design. The manufacturers and designers worked well with each other and really made a solid phone holder. everything works so well together. When you pull it out of the fancy little box you will be amazed at all the little extra steps they took to create the perfect stand, that you can custom place in your car.
