Facts About WixGear Mount Metal Plate with Adhesive for Magnetic Cradle-Less Mount – X4 Pack 2 Rectangle and 2 Round (Compatible with Magnetic mounts) (Black)
These are only metal plates that adhere to your phone/phone case so the magentic mount will cling to your phone. As long as the Scosche mount is a magnetic mount, then they should work.
Yes. All three have adhesive
The metal does not interfere with the NFC. I have a cover on my 6 edge with the metal plate attached to the cover. I swiped my phone with the metal piece down against the reader at Trader Joe’s. Response with instantaneous with Android Pay. No problem with the metal plate. I give it 5 stars.
They are metal plates. The magnet is on the phone holder which this would attach to, none of this is magnetic. One side has adhesive ro attach to the back of the phone or phone case.
Ours is on the porch (farmers porch with a roof)
The rectangle magnets is 2.5 inches by 1.75 inches, and its very thin
The mount is the magnet. Once you place it on you phone or inside betwen your phone and case, you can then mount it to the airvent piece that the magnet will attach. I love it.
Yes they are non-glossy black. And they stick very well.
I would think you would have to see or glue it on if it could even be done.

2 inch more strong
I do not have a ribbed case, but as long as ribs are not too far apart, I think they will find plenty of surface to adhere to.
It’s very close but not an exact match.
They fit a pop socket
I have attached both the square and round to the outside of different cases. I don’t see why it would scratch if it were on the inside. It doesn’t move around. I live this product.
Info About WixGear Mount Metal Plate with Adhesive for Magnetic Cradle-Less Mount – X4 Pack 2 Rectangle and 2 Round (Compatible with Magnetic mounts) (Black) (Reviews From Amazon)
Works perfectly behind my Otterbox case and I did NOT have to stick it to my phone. Do NOT stick this on your phone if you don’t have to because I’ve seen countless reviews showing how hard it is to get off without some form of damage. Also, do not put the magnetic side (I know both sides are magnetic) but the one with no sticky pad…. just place it inside your case with the pad side touching the phone… metal side..touching your case.
The strength is great for the larger rectangular ones and I’ve not tried the smaller ones, but assume they’re good too for smaller phones.
These plates work really well with cell phones and cell phone cases. They don’t stick out but are very strongly magnetic and hold the phone onto the dashboard magnetic phone holders. Update – after using them for a few days. These magnetic holders and their plates are strong. In my case, way too strong. The problem was that when I tried to take the phone off the holders they wouldn’t separate and the entire magnetic holder pulled out of the air vent and remained stuck to the back of the phone. Removing it by hand was pretty tough. These things are powerful!! Solution. I hacksawed one of the rectangular plates vertically, into a piece about 1/3 the size of the original, filed the rough edges smooth where the hacksaw had cut the thing, and then used contact cement on the phone and the back of the smaller piece of plate to attach the plate to the phone. Worked perfectly. Cutting the plate in this way reduced the magnetic attraction to the point where I could now remove the phone properly, but the attraction was still strong enough to hold the phone in place.
Purchased to replace an aging volfon case with 1″ diameter circular medal mount and ring holder combo for a S7 Samsung. With a spigen case and these wiz gear metal tiles for magnetic car mounting support.
The volfon case with its key ring is nice for holding but terrible for magnetic mounts.
The 1st image is the spigen on top and volfen on bottom. On the right is the 4 wizgear metal disks: 2 rectangle & 2 circular.
2nd image shows the best location i placed the wizgear metal between the tpu shell and rubber layer without adhering it to the spigen case. I layered the circular slightly over the rectangular one and didnt notice any bowing after putting the phone in.
Note* I initially, attempted 2 rectangular ones horizontally however after setting the phone in. noticed an air gap between the tpu case and rubber which caused a clicking sound much like a milk cap.
Overview this product is self explanitory it comes with 4 self adhering disks. You may or may not have to use the adhering.. i did not. Set it up between the tpu/rubber layer and it works fine. When driving, the mounts hold up to bumps, taps, without falling off.
These magnetize super well on my car mount. I was actually surprised at how strong they stuck, compared to my old phone case which had a built-in plate on the back.
I used 2 rectangle plates positioned horizontally so there is more magnetic area to use, and adhered them to the inside of my iPhone 8 Plus case, not to my phone.
The back of my phone is glass, so it remains to be seen if there will be any scratching from them. If so, I will stick them to the phone itself, but they are smooth and very low-profile, so I don’t foresee any issues.
Would recommend to anyone, great price, too!
I bought this system a few years back because i didn’t have a place on my dash to mount my cell phone other than the vents. WizGear had systems for all types of mounting situations. It worked perfectly. Never had to worry about the magnets losing their hold. It held just as well whether the magnet for the phone was on the phone or outside on the protective case. In a move i lost my extra magnets so when i lost my phone i could no longer mount my phone on the dash. I was happy to see the company was still out there selling their products. I’ve been really pleased with this product. Just put it against the holder and it stays in place no matter how rough the roads.
These stick to your phone or phone case really well. I love the matte black look. And they work with magnetic phone mounts really well. Just remember, if your phone case is really thick then you need to put this on the outside of your case, otherwise the magnet won’t be able to get a really good grip on the metal plate. I have them on both my work phone and my personal phone. The one on my personal phone is on the inside of the case because the case is thinner and it works beautifully! My work phone is in a thicker, heavy duty case. So I had to put the metal on the outside because it wouldn’t hold it to the magnet when I tried it in the inside. Regardless, they both now work great and I’m very pleased with the purchase.
Before I bought my newest phone, I had a case that had a ring and a magnet on the back. I used that magnet to attach the phone to my magnetic phone holder on the dash of my car. It fell off probably 35% of the time. I decided to try this because I had purchased a new phone and got an OtterBox to go with it and was used to a popsocket and my magnet on the back. These little suckers are awesome. This magnet is way stronger than the one that was on my previous phone case. I plop it right on my phone holder on the dash and it stays through bumps and down the road and no problems it never falls off. The magnet is quite strong. I don’t notice it affecting battery life at all. The adhesion is fantastic and I can highly recommend this product
These are great. I lost the original magnet I got with the magnetic Mount I bought in a store so I bought these as a replacement because I had the tiny little rectangle on my giant Note 8.
I also bought these because they are super slim. I bought a vinyl skin from decalgirl online and I use a clear case on my phone but I didn’t want to put the magnet on top of my skin or case and ruin the aesthetic, so I bought the super slim magnets and I put it underneath the skin and it looks perfect. It’s an almost invisible and doesn’t affect the skin at all. I put this underneath my clear case as well that is pretty slim and it still works just fine with my magnetic Mount and grips even better now that I use the larger magnet.
I bought this for my boyfriends phone for work and he loves it. He is in the construction business so he needs a sturdy case that can hold his phone and show him which site or location he is headed to and this little adhesive metal plate has worked wonders for him.
He can throw his phone into his pockets easily, has a easy place to hold his phone while driving and can use pretty much any case he wants and still looks and works great!
100% recommend!!!!
Perfect replacements for my Anker magnetic car mount when my phone case broke and I needed new metal plates for my new phone case. I just needed one rectangular plate, but the 4 pack worked out great- I gave one to my boyfriend so he can use my mount when he’s driving my car (we travel/take road trips a lot), and I wound up using the smaller rounds for my old ipod shuffle, which isn’t really necessary, but wound up being really convenient with the extra plates this pack provides. Haven’t had any issues with the mounts not holding to the magnet while the car is in motion (and I live in a mountainous area)
