It can be purchased with a central processing unit (CPU) from AMD Ryzen 5 5600H or Ryzen 7 5800H, as well as a selection of discrete graphics processing units (GPUs) from NVIDIA, ranging from a GeForce GTX 1650 to an RTX 3060.

The maximum amount of memory and storage is 16 gigabytes and one terabyte, respectively, and both can be upgraded by the user. 60Hz, 120Hz, and 165Hz are the three different refresh rates that are available for the three distinct 1080p display options. You can use the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15 for school. It’s a bit big and heavy, and with light use, the battery only lasts for five hours. But it’s easy to use because it has a pretty sharp screen, a nice keyboard, and a touchpad that responds quickly. It also has enough computer power to handle heavy work, so it’s good for tech students studying things like 3D animation and graphic design. It’s too bad that you can’t charge the laptop or send a video signal to an external display through the USB-C port, and the fans get pretty loud when you’re working hard. Its AMD Ryzen CPU and NVIDIA dedicated GPU can make 1080p games smooth, but you need to make sure you get 16GB of memory.

If you only get 8GB, frame rates will be lower and there will be more stuttering. You can do it yourself later because it’s easy to get to the inside for updates. While its 120Hz display shows images that are mostly clear in fast-moving scenes, its slow response time makes ghosting very visible. And if you want even smoother games, you can choose a 165Hz panel, but you’ll need an RTX 3060 to get the most out of it. When you do intensive jobs, you don’t lose much performance, but the fans get pretty loud.
