You can now get the SteelSeries Apex 7 Keyboard on Amazon for a special price of $139.99, which is 13% less than the regular price. This will make your game experience better. The Apex 7 has high-end features and a sleek style. It performs well and lasts a long time for gamers of all skill levels. This carefully designed keyboard has RGB lighting that can be changed, mechanical switches that give you feedback when you press them, and specific media controls that make it easy to move between apps. You need the SteelSeries Apex 7 whether you’re playing intense games or typing up important papers. It’s stylish and reliable, so you should add it to your setup. Do not pass up this amazing chance to improve your game gear.
The Apex 7 and the Apex Pro look almost the same. The Apex 7 doesn’t have a steel frame; instead, it’s made of black plastic. It still measures 17.2 x 5.3 inches and has a nice, low-profile base with raised keycaps. The pattern stays small because there is almost no border. A magnetic wrist rest can be taken off from the bottom, and there’s a small OLED screen in the top right corner. Many of the same things can be done in the Engine software, but you can also use the OLED screen to change the lights and record macros. You can, however, use the volume switch, which is there.

The SteelSeries Engine software or the OLED screen are the two ways to change the Apex 7’s many settings. It’s easy to change the backlighting, program keys, make macros, and more with the Engine software, which is one of the best game peripheral program on the market. You can also make different settings for different program or games and sync the Apex 7’s lighting with your other RGB SteelSeries gear. There are five settings built in so you can move your Apex 7 from one machine to another. Everything is pretty simple.
However, the OLED screen is much smaller and harder to use. It can still do most of the same things. Because of this, I’m not sure what specific benefits the screen gives. It’s possible to set up macros on the fly, which is helpful if you don’t have two monitors, but you can also do the same thing with keyboard keys.
In-game performance is one place where the Apex 7 does not let you down. Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition, and Overwatch were all games I played on the keyboard to test its features. I was happy with all of them. The Apex 7 felt good, responded quickly, and was accurate whether I was controlling groups of Yamato soldiers or speeding around the battlefield in D.Va’s mech suit.
