The shiny, snow-white colour of the device is great. Accents in dark and light grey make the whole look better. The knobs, keys, and case are all made of plastic.
The only one that isn’t is the metal D-pad. On the other hand, rough rubber was put on the sides of the pad by the maker. This keeps your hand cleaner and gives you a better grip. Because the analogue buttons have a special groove, your fingers won’t slip as much. But these buttons have already picked up some dirt on the inside after only a few hours of use. It only weighs 212 grammes, which is very little. This weighs 40 grammes less than the original Xbox One Series X controller and 70 grammes less than the Sony DualSense pad. Even though it seems like a small change, it makes a big one over time.

As far as grip goes, the MSI Force GC30 feels like a good game controller. It’s nice that they gave both sides a rubbery feel, which is great if you have sweaty hands like I do. I’ve tried out a lot of controls before. There were some that felt really cheap and some that felt high-end. It’s right in the middle for the Force GC30 case. It could use some work on its design as a whole, but it’s not too light or too heavy, so it doesn’t feel like a toy.
I chose to test the GC30 on the PS4 even though the product manual only says that it works with PC, PS3, and Android devices. It did find it, and I was able to play Ghost of Tsushima, but it unplugged itself after a while. Things to keep in mind if you want to use this with the PS4. Besides that, the buttons feel fine, but I had to press them a few times before they would respond. With the GC30, the copies feel like they need a few tweaks.
