As far as grip goes, the MSI Force GC30 feels like a good game controller. It’s nice that they gave both sides a rubbery feel, which is great if you have sweaty hands like I do. I’ve tried out a lot of controls before. There were some that felt really cheap and some that felt high-end. It’s right in the middle for the Force GC30 case. It could use some work on its design as a whole, but it’s not too light or too heavy, so it doesn’t feel like a toy.
I chose to test the GC30 on the PS4 even though the product manual only says that it works with PC, PS3, and Android devices. It did find it, and I was able to play Ghost of Tsushima, but it unplugged itself after a while. Things to keep in mind if you want to use this with the PS4. Besides that, the buttons feel fine, but I had to press them a few times before they would respond. With the GC30, the copies feel like they need a few tweaks.
